Epilogue: Same As Always

Marinette woke up, wide eyed at the sound of her alarm. She sat straight up and ran down the stairs from her bed to her desk.

"What day is it?" She moved her mouse to awaken her computer monitor and it showed her wallpaper. An edit of Adrien glowed from her screen and admitted a sense of confusion to Marinette.

"What did I dream up last night?" Marinette asked herself. She then realized her alarm was still going off. She ran back upstairs to grab her phone and turn it off. She realized the time and raced to get ready for school.

She ran across the street and saw Alya standing in front of the school. "Are you late too?" Marinette asked out of breath.

The school bell then rang and Alya replied. "Nope. For once you're on time."

"But my clock says I'm late."

Alya took her phone and looked at her clock. "Girl, your phone's clock is off by at least an hour."

"Really?" Marinette took her phone back and saw that Alya was right. Marinette then realized that the conversation they were having was familiar to her. "Mom must've done it."

"Smart of her. Now come on. Or else we'll actually be late." Alya made her way inside with Marinette behind her. "I had a weird dream last night but I can't seem to remember anything."

"Really? Me too." Marinette then fell to the ground after bumping into someone.

"Oh, are you okay Marinette?"

Marinette opened her eyes and saw Adrien extending his hand out for her to take. She blushed at the sight. She grabbed his hand and stood up.

"Uh, yeah. I'm perfect."

"Okay then. Have a good day." Adrien waved and left for class as Marinette stared and watched him.

Alya grinned at Marinette. "Seems like everything is the same around here."

Marinette kept her eye on Adrien. Her feelings felt a little different than before. She didn't know why. Every time she thought about the reason why her mind would go blank.

"Yeah. Same as always."
