Harrys POV
I grabbed the cell phone once been held in Sky's sweet little hands.
It felt amazing and almost scary to know she could be close.
Very close.
I tip-toed down the stairs, I don't know why, but I'm glad I did because I heard whispers coming from the rich pricks that owned this castle. "She's weird Vincent. I don't like her" the witch rambled on. It didn't take a genius to realize they were talking about Sky. "I know. She's dark and completely different"
"I'm done" I interrupted their confined gossip. "Okay" the man walked away to retrieve my money I guess, which means I was left alone with her. "Where is she?" I snapped. "Who?" she asked, obviously confused.
"Sky... Sky Jones"
"Oh... her? You would be her type" she joked, but not a single word made me laugh. "I mean tell me where's she's at?"
"With my son Jamison"
By his overrated name, you could tell he was just like them. What would she want with someone like him?
"So. You haven't answered my damn question. Where is she?!"
Anger boiled in my veins, something I need to control before I end up in jail again. "I can't tell you that's confidential information" she stated, a smirk seeping into her fake lips. She just poured gasoline on a fire that doesn't want to be lit.
"Mom?" a man around my age peeked around the corner. "Who is this?" he questioned, blankly worried about my presence. "You. You must be Jamison"
"Yeah?"
"I'll be going now" I excused myself from this overly dressed family and exited the oversized and underpopulated house before I laughed at how pathetic they were.
Once returned to the privacy of my truck I determined the plan I'd thought of within minutes, would work.
Jamison's car was parked around the corner so he wouldn't have seen my truck when he pulled in.
Therefore he doesn't know what I drive.
My windows are dark enough to keep me concealed and I just need to drive normally.
This should work.
I hope.
Jamison unlocked his older style car, which I assumed was rental because it seemed out of his comfort zone.
Once he was a nice distance away I started my truck.
Hoping he would lead me to my Sky...I followed him.
After about 20 minutes of non stop right and left turns, he pulled into the nicest hotel in town.
Oh I should've guessed!!
My foot slid over the brakes...
Sky was sitting on the edge of a bench.
Her flawless wavy hair caught just enough wind to make her look like an angel.
Her sweet smile warmed my heart.
And she was in a dress.
It felt like a dream.
Then reality ruined it. Like it ruined every other great thing.
When Jamison walked up to greet her she hugged him...
My heart sank further than the dirty floor boards of my truck.
Defeated I pulled away from Sky, the girl I thought was mine, the girl who shattered my heart into a million pieces in a matter of seconds.
