Sky's POV
I woke up with my head carelessly flung over the end of the empty bed , and the clothes I had on previously, still on.
I had stayed up late, 5 am late, trying to reorganize Harrys room and organize my stuff. Harry left me to my OCD and he watched a movie in the living room where I expected to find him. The empty couch worried me until I realized how high strung if become and let lose a little.
It really wasn't worth worrying about because he was occupying the bathroom with his loud singing. I pressed my ear against the wooden, and thankfully thin, door.
Harrys soft notes carried me away to a place only he and I knew existed. A place where only of footprints were left behind.
The water shut off and his singing subsided. I sprinted to the couch and acted like I was intensely reading a magazine about some celebrity.
Harry opened the door, exposing his partially covered body. His ink was fully displayed as a towel around his waist was the only thing he wore. His curls were beginning to form again as water droplets slowly hit the floor from it. "Morning sunshine" he smiled.
"More like good afternoon. I slept late"
Harry returned to his room, which I assume is now OUR room, and changed. He came out dressed in his typical outfit.
An outfit so bland and ordinary somehow always seemed to flatter him immensely. The white t-shirt he wore faintly exposed the black creative ink drawn over his skin. His worn brown boots were all he wore , and all I could do was count down the days till Christmas, when I'd so generously buy him some new ones.
"Where are you going?" I asked curiously as I planted a small kiss on his cheek. "To the store. We need food"
"I'll go too"
But he stopped me in the midst of my childlike frolic to the bedroom. "Stay here. Relax. I promise I'll be home before you know it"
"Ok. Fine. But next time I'm going"
"Deal" Harry grinned and pulled my body close to his. His hand pulled a stray hair away from my face as he leaned in and pressed his lips to mine.
We pulled apart and I innocently bit my lip. "What?" Harry defended his sudden act of love "you didn't think that little peck you gave me earlier was good enough now did you?"
Harrys POV
For a Saturday morning it was horribly hot and I quickly regretted wearing thick, black jeans.
Thankfully Sky flew in on a Friday night/ early Saturday morning because it would've been basically impossible to get to work on time. Mr. Cramer always seemed not to mind but I always felt so guilty taking advantage of his forgiving attitude.
I pulled into Walmart and being as it was a Saturday morning, everyone and their brother seemed to be here.
I scouted down the aisles looking for something else to add to my, already full, cart. A little girl, who obviously wasn't taught what manners were, blankly stared directly at me.
"Mommy. Why does that man have coloring on him?"
Her mother seemed mortified at her daughters sudden burst of impoliteness. "I'm so sorry she didn't know better"
I smiled and assured her it was ok. Looking down at the little girl I said "I like the coloring on my arms. You like to color don't you?"
"Yes!" She rapidly nodded her head up and down. "Well I like to color too. But my skin is my paper"
She shook her head, making it known she understood. "My favorite is this one" her tiny finger stretched out and touch my wrist where my anchor tattoo resided.
"That's my favorite too"
Sky's POV
Harry had been gone for an hour and a half before he called me. "Harry when will you be home"
"I'm sorry love. The place was so busy but I'm loading up the car and I'll be home soon"
"Well I would say lunch is waiting but you weren't kidding when you said we needed food"
We rambled on for awhile about how much he hated grocery stores like that where everyone goes, how dirty it is and how it's just plain annoying.
Over the phone, in the background, a loud ringing sound went off. It took me a minute but I put two and two together and figured it out. "Harry Edward Styles!"
"Yess?"
"Get your seatbelt on right now!!" I scolded. He only laughed at my demand that was for his physical safety. "Harry I'm not kidding. Please. Just put it on or you're face will be over newspaper headlines. And not for anything like what you're thinking!"
There's was a movement over the line and a loud click before the ringing finally stopped. "Oh Sky the things you do to me!"
"More like the things I do FOR you Harry"
Sky's POV
Harry hauled two arm-loads full of groceries into the living room and collapsed as soon as his feet hit the doorway. "Harry next time you'll think and come ask me for help" I laughed at him. "I wanted to do it myself" he said, as if he needed anymore confidence!
"I'm sure, knowing you, there's more groceries isn't there?"
"Duh!" Harry grinned and grabbed my hand, pulling me out to the truck full of groceries.
"My gosh Harold" I was in awe at his need to seemingly buy everything in the store. "Don't call me Harold"
"Ohhh. Does it bother you?" I teased him, poking his insanely toned abdomen.
"Yes it does" he said, trying not to laugh at my tickling. "Ok. I truly apologize Harold" I busted out laughing.
He's too easy to mess with.
But that's what makes him amazing.
