Sky's POV

Cecelia was curled up on Harrys lap, peacefully sleeping away her hard hour of play. She'd grown particularly fond of Harry, and I think I can safely say the same for him. "Harry would you like me to move her to our bed?" I whispered.

"No, she's perfectly fine" he smiled down on the little girl and it made my heart skip a beat or two. Harry reached out and brushed some stray hairs away from her delicate face.

My mind went off, wondering things I've never wondered before.

Where does Harry see himself in the future? Am I there? What about marriage? Does he ever consider saying "I Do"? Do I want to marry him?

I knew the answer to that. Yes. If the opportunity ever proposed itself then yes.

No doubt in my mind.

Harrys POV

The little girl on my lap really wasn't as bad as I'd imagined. In fact she's old enough to where I wasn't constantly worried about her making a false movement.

Sky stirred something in the kitchen, being as we'd missed our normal dinner time. My phone vibrated, "Hello?" I whispered in consideration for the sleepy girl on my lap. "Harry? It's Cathy! Sorry I'm late! I'm pulling into your place now"

"Not a problem. The front doors unlocked"

"Wonderful! Thanks so much" she said and ended the call. I scooped her up to carry her to her mom. Cecelia

"Cecelia?" I whispered into her little ears. The scooped her up to carry her to her mom. Cecelia latched onto me, wrapping her tiny little arms securely around me and her lags dangled because they weren't quite long enough to wrap around my torso. She continued her deep sleep on my shoulders. "CeCe?" Cathy rubbed her back "it's mommy. Are you ready?"

The little girls eyes cracked open as she noticed her mothers appearance. Cathy took her from me and pulled out her wallet. "Oh no please. It was our pleasure" Sky chimed in. She smiled "Thank you so much! CeCe tell Harry and Sky bye"

"Noo I want to stay with Harry!" She whined, tearing a small piece of my heart. "Harry has to go night night baby. We can see him another time"

"Bye Cecelia" Sky waved and she returned the gesture. "Bye bye Harry" she sadly frowned at me. "Bye bye cutie!" I tickled her little stomach and she giggled.

Sky's POV

Harry wasn't too fond of parting ways with his little friend. He locked the door, a frown plastered over his face. "I'll text Cathy and let her know we can babysit whenever" I attempted to cheer him up. "Yeah"

"Harry can we talk?"

"Sure" he slumped onto the couch. "Do u, um... Ever think about the future?" I asked, looking at the ground. "Of course! Why?"

"Am I in it?"

"Yes"

"Really?! Ok... What about rings. Are we wearing rings?"

"If you want" he laughed, not exactly taking my hint. "No. Rings that mean something. Lock us together forever"

"Oh... I don't know. I've never really thought THAT far into the future"

"THAT FAR? Harry we're 22! Marriage shouldn't be that far into the future"

"Some people don't get married till they're 65!"

"Harry what about kids? Don't you want kids? I mean look at how attached you became to Cecelia in a little amount of time. Think of how great of a father you would make"

"I would wouldn't I?"

Now our eyes were locked and he was grinning. "You'd really make a great mother" he said, his British accent accentuating the 'o' in 'mother'. "Harry do you mean that?" I smiled, a tear unintentionally slipping my eye. "Of course I do. You'd be a wonderful mother"

I reached out and hugged his neck while he rubbed circles on my back. "Thank you"

"For what?"

"Saying what I've needed to hear for a long time"

"What do you mean?"

"Harry I never wanted to be a mother. I was afraid of raising a baby. I never had the role modeling of proper child care, and I feared I didn't have what it took"

"Sky you have everything and more. Who cares about your parents. They didn't treat you right, and that should only make you that much better of a parent" Harry reassured me. "I love you Harry" was all I could mange to say. "I love you too Sky"

Harrys POV

Sky's eyes were clamped shut as she held a pillow in her sleepy grip. She looked so peaceful when she slept. When in reality I knew her mind was full of unanswered questions.

What made her think of marriage? Does she honestly want kids so soon? Does she want to marry me out of intimacy? Do I want to marry her?

Yes. No doubt I'd be honored to.

But am I ready to make that commitment now?

No. Definitely not.

I need to do things and go places before I settled down with Sky. Settle down...with a baby possibly...

I'm definitely not mentally or physically prepared for a baby. They're cute and I love them from a distance, but it's different when it's your own DNA. Your own flesh and blood.

"Harry" Sky mumbled in her sleep, snatching my attention away from my thoughts. "Yes?" I whispered back. "I love you"

"I love you too angel"

"Thank you" she whispered and then passed back out into her sleep.

I love this woman with all my heart.
