Harrys POV
Once alone in my room again I exhaled a deep breath I hadn't known I was holding. I'm going to ruin her if she stays around me much longer. She has to stay with Jonah, or whatever his name is, because he's right for her. He won't pull her down.
He won't let her sink.
I stared at the old ink on my wrist like I always did. It reminded me of a simpler time where we could love each other and no one was there to stop us.
Now the tables have turned and now it's me against the world by myself, alone. Sky has him and I have no one.
Wasn't this bound to happen eventually?
A knock on my door sent chills up my back. "Harry?" Sky's sweet, innocent voice chimed through the wood. I opened the door and she stood there, still holding the icepack on her little arm. Her eyes still red from crying. "Can I-"
"No" I cut her off. "What? You don't even know what I was going to ask?"
"You want to sleep in my bed. No." I sternly called her out. Her posture slumped and I gently began closing my door. Once it clicked shut I locked it and mentally killed myself for shattering Sky. But I had to. She can't do this. I can't do this.
Sky's POV
Harrys sudden need to be a diva pisses me off. What happened to me being his everything? All he wanted?
Furious, I stormed out of his tiny apartment and began walking towards the direction of my car.
I think.
The streets were near black and I was surprised I wasn't swiped from some pimp roaming the streets. Not to be judgmental or anything. My car still sat where it had before and I quickly got inside and locked the door. My heater was turned up full blast. I was surprised how cold it was at night in North Carolina.
I tried to find my way back to the highway which proved difficult. In the end I made it back to the hotel at 3 am.
As I rode up the elevator I prepared myself for James' reaction as to where I was.
"James?" I whispered through the door after I knocked. The door crept open and James looked out, his eyes went wide. Without saying a word he pulled me inside to his unreadable expression.
"What the hell" he slowly boiled his anger up. "I'm sorry. I just."
"You just fucking left me!" he yelled. Probably waking the neighbors. "I needed to go to the store and got lost"
"Oh ok"
He turned to walk away and I let out a breath I never thought I'd get to let out. "LIAR!"
I think his anger reached it's boiling point.
"YOU LIAR. HOW THE HELL COULD YOU LOOK ME IN THE EYES AND COMPLETELY LIE TO MY FACE!"
"I guess it's a habit" I whispered.
"What was that oh smart one who seems to know every single flipping thing!"
"I wouldn't say that. Calm down James"
I brushed his arm as I walked by him. He lashed out and harshly gripped my arm. "Let go" I gritted my teeth. "You bitch. You met him"
My legs went numb and chills ran from my spine to my neck. "Can't anything in my life be private" I gulped.
"Get out"
"No. How'd you know. Tell me now James!" I screamed probably releasing more spit than anger. "My friend saw you and who gives a shit. You were with him. Period"
"Who's your friend"
He stayed silent. Flaming eyes fixated on the cold wall. I lashed out and smacked the back part of my hand across his cheek. "The bartender. At the bar you went to Ms. 'Oh I'd never drink!'"
"You ass!"
"I want you out. Get out of this damn place and more importantly my life"
"My pleasure" I barked under my breath as I ripped away to collect my small amount of things if already unpacked.
I rolled my bag across the concrete and carried my smaller one in my arms. "Have a nice life asshole" I slammed the door and stormed to the elevator.
As the doors began to shut a voice traveled down the hall. "Sky wait"
Aw hell naw!
Rapidly I pressed the close button over and over till it was securely shut leaving the really close James in the dust. As soon as the doors opened I sprinted out and scrounged for the keys to his only mean of transport. The jingle alerted me to the pieces of silver needed to escape the nut job slowly appearing in the hallway and quickly approaching me.
I chucked my bags in and jump in and quickly locked the doors before speeding off.
Once a safe distance away from James and the rest of this uncanny incident I pulled over and caught my breath.
Lovely.
Every girls dream ending to the dream day.
