Chapter 1: The Meet.♥

Damn, another day at East LA High School...

I walked in the front entrance and went to my locker to meet up with my girls.

"Hey Siyara," they said meeting me by my locker. "Hey mamas, what's up?" "Nothin'. You heard about the new boys that's supposed to be starting here today? I heard people say they call themselves Mindless Behavior," my friend, Desiree said. "Yeah, I heard they're sexy too," I agreed. "Speaking of them, there they go right now," Aniyah brought to our attention.

We turn around and see them walking out of the principal's office.

"Omg. Look at the little one right there with the braids. He's mad cute," Lexy screamed. "No, baby boy with the afro. Oh my gosh," Niyah said. "You're bugging. Don't you see the one with the mohawk? Mmm, he can get it," Dessy said disagreeing with the rest of them.

"Pshh. You guys are crazy," I said, laughing at all of them. "Mmm, look who's talking. I don't see you making your claim for none of them now do I," Niyah pointed out, attitude all in her voice. I shook my head and laughed. "Whatever. Let's get to class," I say slamming my locker door and walk off to go to class.

"She got a donk, watch it hit the floor, I like the way she move and the way she snap and roll..."

Lunch is always the best time of the school day. We always have music blasting while everybody's rocking, and me and my girls doing what we do.

We were sitting on the stage eating lunch when the new boys come over trying to talk to us.

"Nice little dance moves you girls got there," the one with the mohawk said as he approached us. "Thanks," we reply shyly. "No problem. I'm Prodigy. This is Roc, Ray-Ray, and that's Princeton." "Nice to meet you. I''m Aniyah. This is Lexy, Desiree, and that's Siyara."

Roc was pretty bold being the one to say something to try and get my attention. "Siyara, you look really cute rocking your polka dots and Hello Kitty bag. A fine girl like you shouldn't be wearing polka dots. You're a leopard baby."

He smiled as he gave Princeton and Prodigy daps.

"You know Roc, you're real cocky for a guy that has no swag." "OOOOOOH," our friends shouted. "Roc, you know she just played you right," Ray says running off before Roc could slap him in his head.

"Why do you have to be like that? I was trying to give you a compliment." "Compliment? Baby boy, that wasn't a compliment. You think I'm stupid don't you? I know you were trying to get at me but guess what, it's not working. Besides you're gonna have to come at me with something better than that."

"I'm gonna get you someday."

I pick up my bag, walk over to him and get in his face. "I want to see you try," I pushed his head back and skipped out the lunchroom with a smirk on my face.

"DADDY!!! I'm home." I walk out to the backyard and see my Dad talking to my cousin Antwan and Uncle Rashad.

"Antwan," I scream running toward him. He stands up holding out his arms. I jump on him, feeling his arms wrap around me.

"Hey Sisi. Long time no see." "I know it's been so long. Oh my gosh. What are you guys doing here?!" "I have to fly out to Florida for about 3 months filming this new movie and Ant is gonna be staying here 'til I come back," Uncle Rashad said.

When Uncle Rashad said that, my mouth dropped. "3 MONTHS?! That's just enough time to catch up and have some fun." I grab Antwan's hand and start running into the house laughing when Daddy stops us in our tracks.

"After you finish your homework," Dad called out, completely killing my vibe. "What?! You're joking with me right?" "Does it look like I'm laughing? The way you've been slacking off in school you won't be having any kind of fun for a while." "You don't have to be such a bitch about it," I say mumbling. I guess I was a bit too loud.

"You better watch your mouth." "Sorry." "When you're done, get dressed. We're going to have dinner with a manager at 7." I go upstairs and start my homework. It was kind of hard but I had Ant there to help me.

By time I was finished, it was 6:15 so I took a shower and got ready.

I went outside to meet everybody else by the car. We drove for about 15 minutes before we reached the house. Dad knocked on the door and I guess the lady that answered was the manager he was talking about. She introduces herself and led us into the living room. To my surprise, I didn't expect to see who was there...
