Chapter 8: Weekend Love.

Roc’s P.O.V

"I love my baby, I love my babyyyyyyy," I sang to myself in the midst of the loud music in my room. Thank god it’s the weekend. I started off having a bad week and ended up getting my baby girl back. Yeah, I’m nice like that.

"My bro got his swagger back," Prod shouted when he walking in. "Haha, of course. Prod I haven’t felt this good since… I can’t remember when but it’s all good 'cause I’m a happy motherfu-" "Hey! Watch the language." "Sorry Keisha, what’s up?"

"Nothing. Me and M$ney wanted to know what you guys were planning on doing today." "Stay here and chill," Prince blurted out. Ray: "Nah, man you whack! I heard there was a carnival just two blocks from the school, at the abandoned parking lot no one uses."

"You guys should go there and invite the girls." "YEAAAAAH BUDDY," we said in unison then laughed. "Alright. Hit up the girls and see what’s going down." "We on it right now!"

I get my phone off the side table and dial Siyara’s number.

"Hello," I heard come from Siyara's small voice on the  other end of the line. "Hey baby." "Hey babe." "What you doing today?" "Nothing I was just gonna be chilling with the girls." "No, you're not." "Why is that?" "You and the girls are kicking it with me and the boys tonight." "Ohhh, where are we going?"

"Why you gotta know all that? Baby don’t worry, you and the girls just be ready by five, okay?" "Okay! I hate when you don’t tell me where we're going. No, I have to wait ‘cause it’s a surprise," she says giggling. "Aww somebody's mad." "Whatever." "Yeah a’ight. I’ll see you later okay?" "Kay, love you." "Love you too and wear something cute!"

I hung up the phone and realize that I’m the only one in the room. They did not go down to lunch without me.

Siyara’s P.O.V 

I love Roc. He so stupid, but he’s mine so it's fine. It’s lunchtime! I go outside on the patio, where I see Mom and Dad eating sandwiches. "Hey." Dad: "Hey baby girl." Mom: "Hey mama." Hold up, are they really talking to me right now?

"You guys are talking to me. Aren’t you still mad about how I acted Thursday?" "We are, but we also feel that we deserve it. We should’ve been paying more attention to you from before and we’re going to try our best to be there," Mom said. "Thanks. It feels good to know you guys are trying." I grab a sandwich off the plate and take a bite. Mmm, turkey.

"Oh and Mom maybe we can go shopping tomorrow. Daddy, you should let me help teach one of your dance classes sometime." "We don’t know what the hell you just said with all that food in your mouth but it might be a good idea," he said laughing. "Yup, but remember I’ll be hanging with the girls all day so I’ll be home later." "Don’t be home too late and be careful!" "I will!"

I hear a car horn beep outside then look out my window and see the boys with M$ney. You can definitely see that Roc was excited ‘cause he was standing outside the car.

"Hey baby,” he says roaring after giving me a hug. "Hi to you too," I reply laughing.

We have been at the carnival for about two hours and we’ve went on practically every ride here. We stop at a basketball table with a bunch of big prizes. "Ray you wanna win one of those teddy bears for me?" "Whatever makes my shorty happy." Prince: "Ray, you know you can’t get that."

"I know I can," Prod said with pride. "Ya'll are funny. You wouldn’t even stand a chance." "Ha, look who’s talking. You're the same one that got schooled by Keisha playing last week," Ray shot back at Roc. "Ohh," the rest of us shouted in excitement.

"I can’t lie she is really good but I bet all of you $20 I can win Siyara any one of those giant teddy bears she wants. What you say the best 15 out of 30?" "Bring it big boy," they challenged each other. 

They played while me and the girls stood there cheering like a pack of wild hyenas.  After a five minute game, Roc won. "Raaaahhhh! I told you I was gonna win! Now..." he says holding my waist.

"My baby can have any teddy bear she wants,” he says before kissing me. God damn, his lips are soft! The kiss was so good that my hat began to fall off and I could barely feel my feet. "Damn, Roc let her breathe," Desiree yelled laughing.

We pulled away and start laughed. I don’t know about Roc but I was outta breathe. "Okay, Oreo which one you want?" I look up at the giant teddy bears sitting on the shelves. "I want…that one," I say screaming like a little girl.

I choose a big teddy bear that looked like a puppy with a strawberry that says, “I wubb wuu” on it.

After that we played some more games. Prod, Ray, and Prince got the girls their teddy bears, we bought pizza and ice cream, and of course me and Roc got cookie n’ cream. That shit was good! By the time we left, it was 10:30.

The teddy bears took up half the entire backseat, we had to sit on the boys' laps. They were pretty excited and you could tell by the way their faces lit up and their eyes got bright. I was the last one to go home since the girls live farther.

Roc walks me to the door. "I had fun tonight," I say smiling at him. "I knew you would." We stand in an awkward silence and I played with my feet. "I better get inside before my parents start spazzing." "Yeah, I’ll call you tomorrow." "Okay."

He kisses me before leaving. I swear his lips are just…mmm! I always get head sprung. "I love you." "I love you too." He goes back to the car and they drive away. I pick up my bear and walk inside.

I go to my room, change, and set my teddy on my window seat. I hear my phone eing and look to see a text from Roc.

*TEXT*

"Goodnight baby, sweet dreams. I love you♥ -Roc." He always knows how to make me feel special. That night I fall asleep with a smile on my face, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world.
