Chapter 22: Promise Love? 

*Roc’s P.O.V*

Finally home after three whole days with the girls. Play time is over and it’s time to get back to work.

Walter: "Hey boys, here’s the plan for the next couple weeks. You're recording at the studio on Saturday for CWMG, you have four shows next week, a photo shoot for your new holiday issue of Right On magazine, and a performance on 106 & Park along with a guest appearance with the girls. Sounds good?"

Prince: "Sounds like a lot but there isn’t anything too hard for us to handle." Prod: "I can’t wait to hit the booth at the studio, it’s always fun." Me: "Performing for the fans is always the best part."

Ray: "Wow, ya’ll looking forward to that? Having the girls on 106 is what we need to worry about. How you think the fans are gonna take it?" Everyone looks around and shrugs.

M$ney: "I guess you guys just have to hope for the best. I’m sure they won't take it as anything. All they want is for you guys to be happy." Prod: "Sure hope so."

We finish getting ready. We’re going shopping to buy new clothes for the shows next week and Ray wants to get Lexy a birthday present.

*Siyara’s P.O.V*

Me: "Excuse me? Where are you going? *smile*" Ant turns around laughing. Ant: "I’m going to hang out with Christina at the park then she has a poetry contest later tonight." Me: "So I’m gonna be home alone all day?" Ant: "Oh, um you can come if you want?"

"No it’s alright. You and Christina need the quality time. I’ll just hang with the girls or something." Ant: "Okay." He looks at the time. Ant: "Damn, I gotta go. See you later." He kisses my forehead and leaves. I walk back to my room and plop on the bed. Hmm, what am I gonna do today?

*Roc’s P.O.V*

At last, we’re done shopping for the show and Ray’s anxious to go buy Lexy her gift. We walk into Luxury Jewelers, and you could already see that Ray was about to spend a lot of money. He strolls around looking at necklaces until he finds one perfect for Lexy.

Ray: "Guys come here!" We walk over to Ray who has the biggest smile on his face. Ray: "I’m getting this one… ( http://i1245.photobucket.com/albums/gg591/HeeMyDaddy/B61.jpg ) .

Keisha: "Ray that’s beautiful. Are you sure you have enough?" Ray: "Of course. I don’t care about the price. Lexy’s worth it. *smile*" When Ray said that, I thought of the best idea ever. Me: "Ray when you give Lexy that necklace, what are you gonna do?"

Ray: "I’m gonna promise my love to her." M$ney and Keisha cover their mouths saying aww. Me: "You know we should all get the girls something. Ray already has Lexy’s necklace with her birthstone, why don’t we do the same?"

Prod: "Roc, you do have your moments but I like the way you think." Me: "It’s a part of being mindless."

*30minutes Later*

The things we do for the girls. It’s just incredible. In total we all spent $1,200 on their gifts. Can you imagine? Four 14 year olds spending hundreds of dollars on a couple girls we haven’t even met that long ago except for me, but know everything about?

We go get Chinese food for dinner then go home.  Everyone was a bit tired from being on our feet all day. I go to my room and get ready for bed.

Before going to sleep, I open the box with Siyara’s ring staring at how it shines in the light…just like her eyes.

*The Next Day: Lexy’s P.O.V*

Happy Birthday to me!! Finally I’m 14 and it feels great. I’m in my room getting dressed when my M Mom, Aunt, Grandma, sister, and cousin burst into my room singing Happy BDay. Jazzy(Lil’ sister): "Happy Birthday Lexy!" Me: "*laugh* Thanks Jazzy."

Grandma sets my cake down on the dresser. Mom: "Make a wish!" I close my eyes and blow out the candles. Aunty gives everyone a piece of cake and Mommy swipe icing across my nose. Me: "Nice ma. *smile*"

Mom: "What are you doing today?" Me: "Nothing, hang with you guys until and go to Ray’s house later." Mom: "Okay, and since it’s your birthday be home by 1am. Make sure someone takes you home because I know you kids can party." Me: "*laugh* Thanks Mommy."

*Ray’s P.O.V: Later that day*

I look out my window and see Lexy walking down the street. I run down stairs to the backyard warning everyone that she was coming. Kenneth turns off the lights and sprints behind the table.

When Lexy sees no one answering the door, she walks around the back. Lexy: "Hello??" The lights turn on and we all jump out screaming surprise. She jumps in surprise smiling. The girls run to her giving her hugs.

I walk over to her kissing her lips and tell her happy birthday.

So far Lexy’s party has been crazy and she’s having a lot of fun. The song Take You Down by Chris Brown starts playing and let me just say…the girls did take us down.

Lexy started grinding on me so hard (that sound wrong lol) that I fall back on the lounge chair. Siyara wines her waist on Roc until he dropped down on the wall. Princeton was backed up on the gate and not even that gave him enough support for him to handle Aniyah.

As for Prod and Desiree, they took it to the pool.

After our little freaky moment, we cut the cake then Lexy started opening her presents. All gifts were open except one. Mine. Lexy: "Thank you so much. I love you guys. Ray, where’s your present?" Me: "I was waiting for you to ask, turn around."

I quickly open the box, taking out the necklace and run behind her. Lexy: "Ray I don’t see anything." I bring the necklace around her and clasp it shut. She spins looking at me screaming. She stutters to even talk.

Me: "Lexy, this necklace is a promise of my love to you and no one will ever take that from me. Nothing can tear us apart, I love you." Lexy: "I love you too."

She kisses me and pulls back looking down at the necklace. Prod and Prince give the girls their promise jewelry with their love speeches. We realize Roc doesn’t give Siyara hers.

Me: "Roc, what are you doing?" He turns to Siyara. Roc: "Baby I know it must look weird that you’re not getting a gift too. I did get you something special but I’m just waiting for the right time to give it to you."

Siyara: "Its fine, don’t think I don’t see your little games. Always have to set the right mood when it comes to love. *laugh*" I swear they are too cute.

Lexy: "Ray, this as been the best birthday ever. I don’t think you could do anything else to make my night more special." Me: "You sure about that?"

I take her hand and slowly lead her to my room. I’m not going into details but let’s put it this way…the song Naked by Lloyd tells it all *wink*………
