The flying metal death trap finally landed Houston, Texas. I zipped up my jacket and hid from passing glares from the twitchy-eyed Asian flight attendant, but not even my hood could protect me from those daggers.
"Have a nice day." The flight attendadnt said curtly. Melissa yanked her suitcase down from the overhead compartment and read the flight attendants nametag.
"Listen..Karen? KAREN!" Melissa snapped and then smiled mischeviously, "You got puke on your shoes." And at that she pulled me off the plane. I started to laugh uncontrollably, but once I started to sound like dying moose, I covered my mouth and my cheeks went pink. Melissa smiled and patted my shoulder. "Just laugh, you don't seem so...uptight." She reassured me, rather rudely, and skipped off to a big man with my name on a piece of paper.
"Hello sir, I'm Alexandria." I waved the towering man over to me and he grabbed my suitcase for me.
"I'm Paul," He said checking his phone, "Brandon and the boys are waiting for you back at the tour bus." He lead us out to a mob of photographers jabbing their iPhones in my face.
"Alex, is it true you're pregnant with Zayn's baby and the manager is using you to teach him a lesson?" One pushed.
How in the world do they even know my name?!
"Is It true Harry brings a girl home every night?"
What the hell?! I've never met these boys!"
"Leave the woman alone!" Paul insisted, helping me into the black SUV and Melissa in the other side.
"How do they even know my name, let alone make up rumors?" I asked, frazzled.
"Paps are ruthless." Paul said starting the car and almost speeding out of the crowded lot. I leaned back into the leather seat and sighed. I blacked out and found myself in the car and Paul shaking me gently.
"Ok I'm up!" I exclaimed sleepily and Paul helped me out of the car. I yawned, my eyes still heavy from my cat nap, and walked up to the bus with Paul wheeling my suitcase behind me and Melissa at my side. I found the door of the bus and heard yells, laughing, teasing but one sound surely woke me up. It was a cackle, but it wasn't a normal cackle, it was HIS cackle. My feet glued to the ground, my blood turned to ice in my veins, and all the color left my face.
"Come on! Open the door!" Melissa insisted, head butting me in the back. I groaned difficultly and opened the door slowly and and she grunted and pushed me. We toppled all over each other.
"Thank you Melissa!" I snapped, trying to push the petite blonde off me.
"Need some help?" A boy with a unbelievably goofy grin said.
"Yes please!" I exclaimed as he helped Melissa and I up.
"You the new stylist?" A boy with curly hair and green eyes asked from the couch.
"Yeah, I'm Lexi and this is my younger sister Melissa." I said shyly and she waved.
"Ah cool, I'm Louis"-he pointed to the boy with the curls-"That's Harry,"-Harry waved like an idiot and he pointed to a black-haired boy with golden brown eyes-"That's Zayn,"-he said hello and he pointed to a boy with dark hair and brown eyes-"And that's Liam."
"Hey Lou, who's here?" a unfortunately familiar voice called and strode into the room, "Alex?" It was HIM, Niall, everything that made me love him was gone. He hair was dyed more blonde, no more brunette, and he had gotten himself braces, his beautifully crooked smile gone.
"No way, you're Alex?" Louis exclaimed, "My mum snuck you in at the finals!"
"Yep, but I usually go by Lexi." I nodded.
"Wait a minute, this is the guy that you met at Mom's wedding and stayed up all night to talk to him?" Melissa asked and I nodded slowly and Niall admired his socks awkwardly. "And then you hurried home from London 'cause..." I clasped my hands over her mouth tightly.
"Ok, Melissa enough with the walk down memory lane." I growled. All the boys except Niall exchanged a confused look.
"Well, welcome aboard Lexi." Liam smiled and led us to the couch.
