Lexi's Point Of View
I was half right, things were almost the same. Niall is just so protective of me and seriously, its annoying. No one out of One Direction know that I'm...with child. I've got a good sized belly. 5-ish months or so. I'm glad its a girl though.
"LEXI OH LEXI!" Lou called. Ugh, why did I have to draw him for roommate. I crawled under my fluffy comforter and attempted to bring my knees to chest.
"Leave the pregnant girl alone!" I growled.
"Oh buzzkill. You're friends are here!" I heard Lou's voice in my room. I groaned and pulled myself out of bed.
"Get out." I pushed him from the doorway and I saw that mop of curly hair and the chocolate waves, "El! Dani!" I smiled and they stood up. I ran to hug them both. They smiled and hugged me. They really became my best friends. They accepted Elizabeth and were even excited.
"Lexi!" They smiled. I couldn't believe they would come to see me.
"Hey babe, get dressed." Eleanor winked.
"Ok!" Lou smiled devilishly.
"Not you!" The three of us yelled at him in unison. He just laughed.
"We're going shopping." Danielle smiled.
"I...I...I don't know..." I mumbled to my slippers.
"That wasn't a question." Eleanor smirked.
"Well excuse me, Miss Sass Master." I stuck my tongue out at her and Danielle smiled.
"Ok you two!" She scolded. Dani was our peacemaker. I giggled and ran to my room. I did a fishtail side-braid and a white v-neck. I couldn't decide what to wear next.
"Oh Eleanor! I need a truce." I called.
"On what grounds?" Her voice rose in pitch triumphantly.
"I need your fashion expertise." I laughed and she bounded in. She smiled and held herself with grace (as always). She looked over the incomplete outfit I was already wearing. She threw me an tan oversized sweater with dark brown buttons, some tastefully ripped acid wash jeans, and brown flats. "My fashion genius." I smiled and hugged her.
"Well duh." She laughed as I slipped on my clothes.
"Aww, now you can't see my six-pack." I frowned.
"Dork." Danielle snorted and pulled us out the door. I smiled at Lou and snuck past Niall's door. They pulled me down the street, no car or anything.
"Are you making a pregnant girl walk?" I whined.
"It's good for you." Danielle said.
"Annnd...you can't use that excuse forever." Eleanor said.
"Smart ass." I smacked her shoulder. They pulled me to a street full of small botiques. I kind of understand why they picked this place. The only people who were here were women probably 18 or older. They pulled me every which way.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"I have no idea." Eleanor said with all seriousness. I shook my head. They pulled me into a clothing store and we dispersed, but I was still stuck to Danielle. She smiled.
"Can you help me with a outfit for my date?" She asked innocently.
"Of course." I winked and put my hands over my stomach. I remember when I went shopping to get ready for a date with Niall, way back in Ireland. That was an eternity ago, when I didn't have a broken heart and a mini human growing inside of me. I bit my tongue. A sense of remorse washed over me. I'm not regretting my relationship with Niall, I never will. I just miss not having anyone, like Dani and El. I help Dani pick out a dress. We ended up with a off white lace quarter-sleeved dress with lime green underlay. Eleanor insisted on paying for the both of them and we left. I had a strange craving and pulled the girls to the giant candy store.
"Oh my gosh, Lexi how old are you?" Dani rubbed the bridge of her nose.
"Candy!" Eleanor screetched and we ran to find candy. We filled a giant bag for the both of us. I ran and paid for it and El and I giggled like children. Dani grunted and followed. El dragged me forward. There stood in front of us, was a small children's botique. Why did she bring me here?
"I...I'm not ready." I bit my lip, "Nope. Nope. Nope." I chirped nervously. Eleanor smiled faithfully.
"Come on Lexi." Danielle beckoned my forward. I stepped up slowly, I felt so small. They pulled me through the doors. They went together to the field's section while I followed slowly behind them. This wasn't terrible. I let them look and I found myself in an isle full of knit blankets and caps. There was a blue and brown blanket, perfect for a little boy. I froze. The realization of everything hit me full form. My brave, strong stature was slowly dissolving away. I would've named him Jacob. That would've been a perfect name. I grabbed the blanket. It was a pretty good size, someone my size could cuddle with it if they chose to. I wiped my tears and handed to the cash register girl. She smiled and rang me up, I paid without a word.
"Eleanor, Dani let's go!" I called and they followed me out.
"What'cha get? What'cha get?" Eleanor smiled.
"A...a blanket." I squeaked. Danielle sinced something immediately in my inappropriately colored blanket and red complection. She waited, until we got to the hotel to address it. She pulled me into my room and looked me over.
"It's ok." She said and wrapped her arms around me. I sniffed, El and Dani all know the story. They are probably the best friends I will ever have.
