Xephos snuck down to Duncan's basement. The scientist had been acting odd all this week. All he said every time Honeydew or Xephos asked he would always say, "Its just the anniversary of something bad." Honeydew had respected and even though curious, Honeydew had not bothered to look around.
Xephos however, wanted to know what was up. So he had snuck into Duncan's castle, and had found something. A book. A book of pictures and notes. A book called Old World. He had looked through it many times. And had found out much about Duncan. And much about the old world. He had never heard of a before world. And apparently Duncan was the oldest of them all. But he blown it up as well. And Sjin had been there too!
Xephos sighed and closed the book and quickly left. He wondered more. And why Duncan had never mentioned it before....
The Next day
It was and odd day for Xephos and Duncan. Only because Xephos had found out a out the scientist. And also because he had a crush on him. Now he didn't know how to think. Suddenly Xephos felt a hand on his shoulder, he jumped and turned around. "Hello Xeph. You ok?" Xephos laughed nervously and nodded, "ya. Just didn't get that much rest that's all " Duncan smiled, "alright. Well, if its alright with you...i need to get home. For precautions." Duncan said glancing everywhere.
Xephos nodded. "Ya...sure. I'll walk with you! Sjin and Sips will watch the factory along with Dew." Duncan laughed, "Those three? The world might as well explode ag-." He stopped himself and quickly shuffled. Xephos smiled, and quickly kissed Duncan's cheek. Duncan blushed extremely and looked to Xephos who was also blushing like crazy.
"d-did...you just...?" Xephos nodded, still blushing. Duncan smiled and kissed him back. "Come on. We'll walk home." With that the two hand-in-hand walked to Duncan's castle. Happy as they could be.
