"Kim! Kim! Kim!"Duncan teased poking her cheek, the fluxed apprentice sighed and looked st him, "What?" She asked. "Guess what tomorrow is?" Kim rolled her eyes, she had been hearing it over and over again from Duncan.
"Tomarrow is the anniversary for when I became your apprentice." she said smiling. Duncan chuckled and nodded, "yup! I can't wait for you too see your present!" Kim froze. She had compleatly forgotten about a present. She looked to him, "well, I better go get ready...he he." She laughed nervously and ran out.
What was she suppose to do?! She should have gotten him a present. "What do you get for the man who has everything?!" Kim groaned and continued walking, I could get him something from Hatfilms...the deed to our castle? She shook her head, too risky.
Sjin's head on a platter? A dinner at Chiliwowas? She stopped and shook her head, yeah...no. She thought long and hard, until she had an idea.
"Of course!!" She smiled and ran off, looking for the ingredients to make the perfect present.

"Duncan!! I'm home!!" Kim said happily as she walked through the door into the house. But her smile faded as she saw no one was around. Was this the gift?! Did he not want her anymore? So he just...left?
Kim's heart sank, she began to tear up. Until the lights came on, she saw a banner above her head, it read:
Happy anniversary Best apprentice ever!!
She smiled, "Duncan?" He came out and engulfed her into a hug. "hey Kim! Ready to see you present?" He asked, she smiled and nodded. He then pulled out a large silver case with dimoands around the edges.
He opened the box and presented her with two things:
A ruby necklace, and a ruby flower pin too put in her hair. She gasped, and teared up, "D-Duncan...its amazing..." She said. Duncan smiled, "I'm glad you like it." Kim looked at him, "Like it? I love it!!!"
"Anyway, Duncan, its your turn." He smiled, Kim blushed and handed him a pair of goggles. "Kim-"
"S-Shut up and take it...." She said. Duncan laughed and put them on, "this has the best vision I've ever seen!" He said. Kim smiled, "The glass is made of dimond. So they won't break easily like your others." He smiled and hugged her tightly. "thanks Kim." She smiled, "no problem.."
