Taehyung's POV

Sometimes you're just plain harsh..

"Daehyun why can't we adopt a child"

"I don't want a child who grows up knowing that we arent their real parents"

"But there's nothing wrong with giving it a try "

"Enough with that Tae. I told you I'm done with this! Leave it! Just wait till the rest gets to know about it..."

"What's wrong with them knowing? They're like family to us!"

"Don't you get it Tae??? This is a joined pack . I don't fucking think there are any packs around here that has two head alphas! You know what happens when there are two rulers in the same kingdom?? They fight for power. And Namjoon isn't as nice as you think. He's 3 years older and has much influence over the rest than i ever did! He interferes with every single business of mine and father's. I hate how Jungkook is all nice with him. He's ruining our reputation. I'm sick of seeing our father bow down to him! Namjoon sees me as a little kid. That's why i wanted a strong alpha child that can carry on our name. But i guess that's almost impossible now."

"S-So it was all about this..? W-what about me..? What about me being your mate? A-Am i nothing to you? Am i useless?"

I almost teared up.

"N-No Tae i didnt mean to say it like that..Of course you are important to me. You're my mate..mine"

"Daehyun..do you love me?"

But sometimes you're soft...

"Yes i do. I love you. More than anything"

I want to believe in the intensity of those words you said to me without any hesitation or any stuttering. That's why i want to trust you.

Taehyung shook off his thoughts diverting his attention towards his phone. It was a message.  From Jungkook.

He smiled. He had been great friends with him ever since that day. In the end Jungkook got his number and now they chat dumb (cursing included) almost whenever they got the time to. It was relaxing for the younger male since he was alone at home most of the times and the maids only came on weekends or wednesdays.
