I woke up on the fourth of July excited for the day ahead. It was really late in the day seeing I slept in, which was a common thing for me to do. I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen, half hoping to see Dally there. But of course, he wasn't. Cole wasn't here either, so I expected he must have gone to work.

I decided to make myself chocolate chip pancakes, they're my favorite. I made the normal recipe for pancakes, added the chocolate chips and cooked them. I poured myself a glass of orange juice and sat down at the empty kitchen counter eating. When I was done I changed, did a bit of makeup, my hair, put on my jewelry, sprayed on some perfume and sat down to my piano. I've been playing since I was a little kid. I fiddled around a little bit seeing I was really bored, then when the right time rolled around decided I would ride over to Bill's house and meet the Losers.

I locked the house, sat down on my bike and rode to Bill's. When I got there, I went straight inside and saw the Losers sitting around.

I smiled at them as I walked in. "So are we gonna go meet the others?" I asked.

"Yeah," Bill said.

"Do you wanna leave now?" Eddie asked.

"Sure," I agreed. "I mean if you guys want to."

"We're meeting the others at like six thirty or something," Richie said.

"What time is it now?" Mike asked.

"Shit, it's like six twenty. We should get going," Bill announced.

We got onto our bikes and we rode all the way into town and stopped when we saw the others waiting in the car. When they saw us they got out.

"Hi," I said.

They smiled and nodded at me.

"Can we get food?" Patrick asked.

"Sure, how about like hot dogs?" Ben suggested.

We all shrugged, agreeing with him as the eleven of us walked over to the hot dog stand.

We sat down around a large table.

"I wonder what's gonna be in the fireworks show this year?" Asked Eddie.

"The same as it is every year, just normal fireworks," Stan complained.

"What do you expect, it's Derry," Belch told him.

"Yeah," said Vic. "Maine's smallest country town."

"Any more kids gone missing lately?" Patrick asked.

"We can go look at the community noticeboard later," Bill said.

"Do you guys actually reckon we'll see them again?" Henry asked.

"I hope so," Mike said.

"Yeah, I want my brother back," I said.

"Same with my sister," Belch said sadly.

"Guys, we'll get them back, don't worry," Eddie reassured.

"How do you know?" Vic asked.

Eddie shrugged.

"Who wants to come play some games?" I asked.

Richie, Patrick, Eddie, and Henry stood up.

"Well, the rest of us are gonna go get ice cream," Bill said.

"Let's do this one!" I exclaimed.

It was one of those games where you press a button to shoot water and make your animal run, and the first one to the end wins.
