"Three tickets to see Lethal Weapon Two, please," I said as Henry, Bill and I stood at the ticket booth of the cinema. The guy handed us the tickets and we headed over to the snack bar.
"Three cokes, two boxes of Junior Mints, a box of Snow Saps, a box of Swedish Fish and a super large popcorn please," I ordered.
I loved Snow Caps and Swedish Fish.
We were served our snacks and found our seats. Bill sat down first and I followed, Henry behind me.
"It's so cold in here," Bill complained.
"It's always cold in movie theatres," I stated.
"Why didn't you bring a coat stupid?" Asked Henry.
"I forgot," Bill mumbled.
As the movie started, I smelt cigarettes behind me.
"Some cute blonde, huh?" A voice said seductively.
"Are you a real blonde?" The guy asked as he put his face right into my neck.
Then I recognized him. Ethan. He was part of Dally's gang, Greasers. The kid next to him, Ponyboy, was in the gang too. It took me a while to recognise them since I hadn't seen them in so long. I guess I've changed a lot too, so it makes sense that they wouldn't recognise me. I decided to not bother reminding them.
I moved my head away and laughed a little.
"How can I find out if this is your real blonde hair?" He asked, twirling my hair in his hand.
He wasn't bad looking. He had brown hair swept to the side and septum piercing.
He looked down at my crotch. "Are you a real blonde?"
"Cut it out," Henry said to the guy.
"I'm Ethan," he said, leaning forward. "You gotta name?"
"Leave her alone, come on," Ponyboy said.
"Yeah, I got a name," I said.
"What is it?" He asked.
I shrugged and smirked at him as I turned around.
Ethan put his feet on my chair and started going on about the movie.
"Get your feet off my chair and shut your mouth," I snapped.
"Who's gonna make me, huh?" Ethan asked.
"I'm going to get another coke," Bill said, getting up.
"That's one of the guys in the Greaser gang who just got out of jail," a girl in front of me whispered.
I nodded in thanks and tried to concentrate on the movie.
"Leave her alone or we'll call the cops!" One of the girls from the row in front of me whisper-yelled.
"Oh my god this girl's making me shake!" Ethan said, looking at the girl that threatened him.
"Just leave us alone," I said in annoyance. "Be nice and leave us alone."
"I'm never nice," Ethan said smoothly. "Would you be interested in a date or a shag?"
"Fuck off!" I said, trying not to raise my voice too much.
"I'm sorry I didn't know," Ethan said. "I didn't know you had these anger issues. Alright, I'll go, I know when I'm not wanted."
Ethan got up and walked right out and I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good move," said the girl in front of me. "He's bad news."
"Yeah, I've heard," I told her.
The girl smiled and nodded and turned back around right before Bill came back.
