Chapter 20: Exploring Deeper Into Tintagel Ruins!

Sorey ran towards the door and stopped in front of it. Mikleo raised an eyebrow at Sorey as the human smirked at him. He knocked on the door a couple of times and the stones rolled out of the way, opening to a new area. "Bingo!" Sorey said with a proud smile. "Woah!" Rose exclaimed in fascination. Lailah gave a happy gasp. Edna just snorted and said "Took you long enough." "I see, so that was what was interfering with the door's rotation, huh?" Mikleo asked with wonder. "Hah hah! Looks like I win this time!" Sorey shot at Mikleo with his proud smile. Dezel just smirked. "For once." Mikleo replied with a scoff. As Sorey and his group walked in, Rose and Dezel followed with Rose saying "Let's do this!" "Oh, you're coming too?" Sorey asked, confused. "Yep! I'm in if you are!" Rose said with a smile. Sorey's face then turned serious and he said "Rose, there may be Hellions lurking inside this place.

Rose just gave an exhausted sigh and said "Okay." "Listen..." he said. "Yeah, yeah. Blah, blah, Hellions, something, something, Powerful. I'm listening." She said with a mocking grin. "I'm saying it'll be dangerous!" Sorey warned. "And I'm saying I'll be fine! Besides, you've seen what I can do! I can take care of myself." Rose replied. Sorey just stayed silent. "I was bored out of my gourd anyway!" she said, just walking in. "Hey!" Sorey called, but was ignored. Dezel walked past them saying with an exhausted sigh "I'm going too. Keep her from causing trouble and all." "But wait Dezel! You can't purify Hellions!" Sorey told him. "Hmph. So? Nor can Velvet and her posse." Dezel told him, walking off. Sorey sighed in defeat. "If it comes to it, we'll bail them out." Mikleo said, hoping to get Sorey's mood up. "Indeed. This is our first ruin expedition in some time. Let's enjoy it." Lailah said with a smile.

"Some vacation THIS is..." Edna said with a sigh. All the Seraph's entered Sorey and they continued into the ruins. They entered an empty room and they heard Rose ask "What's this? Some kinda lever?" "No! Wait!" Sorey said, running towards the open door. Rose then pulled down the lever and landed on her butt. A door slid into place, locking Sorey in. He quickly turned around and saw a door slid into place behind him. "Oh dear..." Lailah said, coming out of Sorey with Mikleo and Edna. "Dang it, Rose!" Sorey called out. "Whoops..." Rose said in an apologetic way. "Don't you 'Whoops' me!" Sorey said, angry. "Well. At least I got this working, right? It was a dead end anyways." Rose replied back. Sorey groaned in annoyance and frustration. "She's got your number." Mikleo replied with an amused smirk. Sorey glared playfully at Mikleo. "Huh? It won't move back?" Rose questioned. "Nice going idiot." Dezel replied from her side as well. "Hey!" Rose yelled.

"Well, what do we do now!?" Sorey asked, scared this time. "Ehh... the other door opened up. I'll go take a look. Stay, right there!" Rose said, running off. "Where ELSE would I go, hmm!?" Sorey asked, sarcastically. Sorey turned to face his Seraphim. "What do you guys think? What's on your mind?" Sorey asked. "Where the hell Velvet is and if she is alright." Mikleo replied. As if on cue, an orange portal opened above Mikleo and a screaming Velvet fell out and onto the Seraph. "Gah!" Mikleo grunted with pain as he fell. "Ow..." Velvet said, sitting up. Next Laphicet fell and Velvet caught him and quickly got off Mikleo. "Sorry." Velvet said with kind eyes, much different than her usual guarded look. As Mikleo started getting up, a screaming Eleanor fell from the portal and onto Mikleo, along with Magilou, Eizen and Rokurou. Mikleo groaned in pain as well as the other four. Lailah and Sorey were trying to contain their laughter as Edna was rolling on the ground, crying from laughter. They slowly got off the Seraph as well, mumbling apologies.

"Ugh..." Mikleo groaned. He then went back into Sorey. "So... why are we in a locked room?" Velvet asked, looking around. "WOAH! JUST LOOK AT THESE RUINS!" Laphicet exclaimed with a wide smile, looking around. Magilou just looked around the room, a raised eyebrow at the four enclosed walls. "Strange... It feels empty in here... like something is missing..." Eizen stated, looking around. "Well I don't like it. It feels like something is going to jump out at us." Rokurou said. That's when the door leading to Rose opened. "Oh! That door opened." Eleanor said, pointing towards it. That's when loads of Malevolence flowed into the room. "I sense... a domain!?" Sorey exclaimed, worried. "AHHHH!" Rose screamed in fear. "Rose!" Lailah called out. "I sense two large presences of considerable power! It can only be two Hellions!" Mikleo said in Sorey's head. "Ms. Magilou! I sense a familiar presence in front of us!" Bienfu told Magilou in her head. "Eleanor. Be careful. This power is much different than anything I have ever felt." Grimoirh explained.
