Kay woke up to the sunlight shining in her eyes and warming her skin. Without looking over, she knew that Jackson was still there next to her. She let the memories of the night before flood her mind and she smiled. It was the first time in her life that being with a man made her feel so warm and happy. Keeping her eyes closed and shielded from the sun, Kay rested her head on Jackson's shoulder and snuggled up to his side. She didn't care that they were still naked, and she didn't feel out of place. All she hoped is that he didn't have any close neighbors that would see them sleeping naked on the pontoon.
Jackson felt his skin heating up from the hot summer sun, and he felt a body curled up next to him. He smiled knowing that Kay was still there with him. A part of him had been afraid that she would sneak off in the night and go back to avoiding and ignoring him. Knowing that she didn't leave meant everything to him. He wanted to make her happy, and he would spend every day of his future making sure that happened.
"Good morning beautiful. I'm so happy to be waking up next to you. Neither of us has to go into the restaurant for a few hours, so would you let me take you out for breakfast?" Jackson whispered against her skin as he gently brushed his lips across her cheek, kissing her softly.
"Mmm, I would love that Jackson, but I am sure my hair is a mess, and I don't have any clothes to change into." She mumbled back to him, distracted by his constant kisses.
"Honestly, I think you look beautiful the way you are but, we can take a shower and you can brush your hair before we leave. You can wear the pants you had on last night, and you can borrow one of my shirts. We don't need to be fancy Kay; I just want to take you to the little diner that I love going to for breakfast." He pushed himself up so that he was leaning on his elbows with his face hovering over hers. He gave her his best sad puppy eyes and kissed her on the tip of her nose.
Kay couldn't reject an offer like that. Looking into his eyes, she knew that she was going to have a really hard time ever telling him 'no' about anything again. She was falling so fast for this man, and she just hoped that he really was the great man she had always thought he was. She hoped that he was a gentleman like his brother, her best friends' husband. She wanted so badly to just let go of her fears and allow herself to be happy. She just hoped that they wouldn't have some whirlwind romance that started out fast and strong, and fell apart quickly.
Jackson stood to his feet and helped Kay stand up. He wrapped the blanket around her, and took the other one and wrapped it around his waist. After they were both covered, he picked up their clothing from the dock, and led her to the back door of the house. As soon as he was inside, he set the clothes down on the bench in the walkway and dropped the blanket from his waist. Jackson turned to Kay and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her body against his. As they stood kissing, Kay let go of the blanket she was holding around herself and tangled her fingers in Jackson's shaggy light brown hair. They both stood in the entryway naked, acting as if they just couldn't get enough of each other.
After a few minutes of kissing like horny teenagers, Kay pulled back from Jackson's grip. She smiled at him, licked her lips, and walked away with her hips swaying back in forth in a way that Jackson found to be extremely sexy. She walked her way down the hall to the bathroom, leaving the door open behind her as she started running water for the shower. She turned her head back as she climbed into the steamy shower and saw Jackson leaning against the doorway watching her. A large grin appeared on her face when she realized he was standing there.
"Are you going to join me, or do I have to wash myself up?" She asked him with a giggle.
She didn't have to ask him twice. Jackson was climbing in the shower behind her. It took them almost an hour to get washed up, because they kept distracting each other. Every time one of them would start washing the other, they would start kissing and caressing each other. Neither of them tried to take it any farther than just a fun, wet make out session, but they surely enjoyed the presence of each other. After they finally got out of the shower and dried off, Kay slipped her black slacks back on. Jackson handed her a tee shirt of his and she slipped it over her head, taking note that she was drowning in it.
