"Jackson, you're being an ass! I am pregnant, not fragile. If I want to go out to dinner and movie with Lillie, your sister-in-law, I will! You can either go over to spend time with James and Ava, or you can catch up on work. You're acting like I shouldn't leave the damn house!" Kay said while gritting her teeth out of frustration.

"I'm sorry baby, I just worry about you. You need your rest, and I miss you when you're not here." Jackson replied while pouting.

"If you are going to be this damn overprotective my whole freaking pregnancy, I am going to get sick of you quick!" She yelled.

"Calm down sweetheart. I was wrong, okay? I shouldn't try to keep you home just because I want to be curled up with you in bed. I'll go spend time with my brother and you go spend an evening with Lillie. If you need me, you'll call me, right?" He asked with a hint of sadness.

"Yes, of course, now stop being so damn possessive." She said but sat on his lap and kissed him. They had known for a month that they were having a baby, and all they seemed to do in that month was have petty little arguments because Jackson was trying to keep her in a bubble.

Jackson gave up and went to get ready to go. After about half an hour, they walked out to his truck and drove silently to James and Lillie's house. Kay and Jackson had been living together since they first got together, so they decided to take the rest of Kay's belongings back with them, since she had previously been living with James and Lillie. Jackson decided that while the girls were out having fun, he would rope his brother into helping him load up his truck with the last of Kay's boxes.

Kay and Lillie kissed the men goodbye, cooed at Ava, and left for the evening. They decided to eat at 'JACKSONS' since Kay was craving one of their taco burgers, and Lillie loved the onion rings. Even though Kay was at that restaurant every day, she never got sick of the food or the staff. She was glad to see the waitresses she trained, and the people she worked side by side with. Eating there would also give her the chance to run back to her office for the papers Jackson had forgotten to grab earlier.

"Lil, when you were pregnant with Ava, was James super crazy and protective all the time? I don't remember him being as over the top as Jackson is being." She sighed.

"Our situations were completely different. James didn't get the chance to be like that with me. Plus, if you remember back to the story he told you about his ex, I think you would understand why he is acting so crazy." Lillie whispered.

"Ah, yes. The story of the crazy bitch that cheated and lied, I understand how that made him feel, but that shouldn't affect the way he treats me. He knows this baby is his; he doesn't have to keep me locked away from everyone and everything the entire time. He's driving me crazy lately." She said with a bit of anger and a bit of sadness. "He doesn't let me carry the laundry to the basement, and if he sees me lifting a box here when I'm doing inventory, he flips out. I'm ready to smack him silly." She finished.

"He loves you, so he worries. It's what the Michaels' do. Get used to it honey, you're a part of our family now." Lillie smiled.

"James, is it wrong that I want Kay to be safe? She acts like I'm completely out of line for wanting her to take it easy. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to her or the baby, and she acts like I am asking her to run away to Alaska or something." Jackson pouted while looking at his brother. He had envied what his brother had with Lillie, and now that he had that with Kay, he didn't want to lose it.

"You're not wrong from wanting her safe, but you need to lighten up bro. Pregnant women go out to the movies and dinner, and they work, and they cook and clean and some go walking, or to the gym. She's not fragile; she will not break into pieces. You need to chill out before she decides she doesn't want to live with you man, you're seriously going too over the top." James said very frankly. He loved his brother but thought he was going crazy.
