Chapter 38

Third's P.O.V

"My Lady...We are almost at the summit. Do you have any orders for us in particular?" A maid asked. Syzelle looked at the woman's face with a tilted face thinking for an answer.

"Hmmm....." Syzelle placed her hand on her face with a thoughtful look. " I have none as of the moment but thank you for asking Lei." the maid called Lei bowed without any expressions on her face and became quiet as she stood with other maids in the corner of the room without looking at the woman before them. 

Syzelle placed back her attention on the pure amethyst jem on her hand as it continues to flicker when the light hits on its clear face. " Hmmm.....that Sinbad is really a troublesome lad isn't he?"

*Flashback*

"It's been a long time since I had visited the castle. There are actually parts that I didn't recognize." Syzelle stretched her hands in the air as she continues to mumbles to herself. "...It's a good thing that I managed to escape those maids. huff! I am sure that En put them to it! I'll scold him later if I see him!" 

Deciding to see that land beyond the castle walls, Syzelle immediately picked up her pace and walked to the city walls. The sun has almost set and hid behind the huge mountains in the distance but two figures immediately caught her eye just as she was about to walk out. 'Isn't that Kougyoku? .....and Alibaba? What are they talking about in a secluded place?' 

Syzelle looked around and found that no soldier is on her sight. Sensing something wrond when the atmosphere suddenly changed, Syzelle's eyes sharpened and casted a spell on the wind.

Voices travelled through the air that made Syzelle hear without being near thyem, the things that the two kids are talking about. 'I feel like I'm taking their privacy....but Kougyoku seemed to be realising a different atmosphere earlier....'

"Kougyoku?"

"I'm not Kougyoku." Syzelle scrunched up her nose as her thin eyebrows frowned. "About what you have told me a while ago, you sould do that Alibaba. That's a really good thing for Sindria."

Alibaba's face started to sweat a lot when he heard the familiar voice coming out of Kougyoku's mouth. "Sinbad...?"

Kougoyku smiled but her eyes are hazy with no concentration on them. " Hey! Are you doing fine, Alibaba?!"

"S-sinbad...?!"

"I'm sorry that I didn't let Aladdin come with you. Shambal is worried if Toto is causing any trouble for you."

"B-but how could it be....why....!?"

"Calm down and listen. Let me explain the situation to you. This is one of Zepar's abilities. This ability interferes with the mind of the target through special sound waves and allows me to enter her mind. It practically forces my rukh inside of the target's head. Thanks to that, I can manipulate her body for a short while."
