Laurens pov
It's now been a month since I got back with Luke and it's been amazing maybe even better than the first time around and i do say maybe. Today Liz asked to have dinner with all of us and she asked if I could meet up with them at the office and we'd all ride to the restaurant together which i agreed to but as the time gets closer the more nervous I get and not cause I'll be there again but because I have to worry about running into Brianna which I really don't want to do. I shook the thoughts away and got Sofia ready then got ready myself. Once all done we were out the door and it didn't take long to get there. You can tell who knew about Sofia and who didn't based on their reactions to seeing her but in the end they all thought she was adorable and that's all that matters. I got to Luke's office at the same time as Liz
Liz- hi sweetie
La- hi
Liz- may I
La- go right ahead
I passed Sofia to her so she could say hi to Sofia then we opened the door and they didn't hear it open.
Bri- come on Luke
Lu- I've told you countless times I'm already with someone I'm not screwing things up just for something meaningless
Bri- well that's rude
Lu- don't really care
Bri- Luke your job is in my hands I wouldn't mess this up
Lu- my girls at home are the only thing that matters to me so I don't give a shit if you fire me got it
Liz- I think it's time I stepped in
I nodded and she handed me Sofia
Liz- well considering her dad doesn't own this company
Bri- yet
Liz- this is still my company young lady so I suggest you stop throwing yourself at my son
Bri- yes mam
Liz- good ready to go Luke
Lu- I will be in one second
He walked over to me and picked up Sofia and then leaned over and kissed me like it was his last chance.
Lu- now I'm ready
I wrapped my arms around his one and I glanced back and she was glaring at me and I just smirked in return which made her scream.
Lu- did you flip her off
La- all I did was smirk clearly she can't even handle that
Liz just laughed and Luke rolled his eyes and we continued to walk out to Liz's car. Once we were all in Luke stared at me
La- what
Lu- how long were you listening
La- long enough to know were all that matter
Lu- well you should know that already
La- I do but it's nice to hear
Lu- I love you
La- and I love you
We kissed and we soon were at the restaurant and dinner was great we just spent time catching up with each other then we headed back to the office to get the cars so we could go home. We got home and put Sofia to sleep then cuddled in bed watching movies till we fell asleep. I couldn't ask for a better ending to the night.
