For the rest of the day we took turns taking care of sofia and watched as they ran more tests on her but me and lauren still haven't talked. The most we have said is I got her whenever she cried and it's getting to be too much not talking to her. But right now lauren is having a quick check in with her doctor and making sure none of the stitches have come undone then we go home.
Lu- daddy and mommy will be back in the morning sofia don't worry
I kissed her forehead and then went out to the waiting room and met up with lauren
Lu- still ok
La- mhmm
Lu - good now let's go
I grabbed her hand and pretty much dragged her out to the car
La- I can walk on my own
Lu- I know
La- then why are you dragging me
Lu - cause I can
She rolled her eyes and then got in the car and after what seemed like forever we got back to the house.
Lu- ok now do you want to tell me what I did that was so wrong
La- if you seriously don't know then what difference will it make if I tell you cause clearly you don't feel bad at all
Lu- what the hell are you talking about why do I need to feel bad
La- luke you saw how scared I was to have that C section you saw how sad I was to have to have this baby so early you saw me cry before they put me under yet you didn't even check on me to see if I was ok you didn't check to see if I even woke back up. Hell you didn't even come in to tell me sofia was still alive and ok
Lu - I thought you would want me to be with her I thought I was being a good dad
La- you could've still been with her but you know just a little stop in my room to let me know my baby was ok would've been nice
Lu- well I'm sorry that I was too caught up in our baby to go back and check on you I figured if something went wrong they would've told me
La- I can't believe you
Lu- likewise
La- I just wanted to have someone by my side when I woke up why does that make me a bad person
Lu- why does making me watching my daughter a bad person
La- our daughter
Lu- oh and now that I do the same as you and claim her as only mine I'm the bad person yet you do it but that's ok
La - she's already a hemmings so why do you feel a need to claim her
Lu- you told me it was ok
La- what difference would it make luke you do what you want all the time why would my word make a difference

And with that she ran up to her room most likely and slammed her door in the process. Well I know the problem now but how do I fix this
