She's mad

I stayed in the room that night with our baby and whenever she woke up I helped her to the best of my ability and nurses helped me as well. By the time I was up for good it was already 10 and I checked my phone and saw 10 missed calls from jack and three from mom so I called her back.
Lu - hey momma
Liz - where are you
Lu- currently at the hospital
Liz- everything ok
Lu- not exactly mom lauren had to have an emergency C section last night and our little girl has had a whole bunch of tests ran on her ever since and she's in her little crib with all these wires and it's just hard to see
Liz- I'm so sorry honey how's lauren doing
Lu- I'm not entirely sure
Liz- lucas
Lu - what
Liz- have you checked on her at all since the surgery
Lu- well no but
Liz - lucas how could just leave her alone
Lu - I thought I was being a good dad by being with the baby
Liz- well yes but not checking on lauren at all I just can't believe that
Lu- I know I'm sorry
We talked a little then before I did anything else lauren was now in the room with me
Lu - hi baby how's your stomach
La- it hurts
Lu- I'm sorry baby come here
La- I'd rather check on the baby if you don't mind
Lu- are you mad
La- what was your first clue
Lu- baby look
La- I don't want to talk about this right now ok
Lu - ok
She walked over to the baby and kissed her forehead and then just sat down next to her and there was nothing but silence. Every now and then she would cry so lauren got up and checked on her but that's all.
Lu- I know you're mad and don't want to talk but we need to name her still
La- you didn't do that already
Lu- no I wanted to wait for you
I saw her bite her lip and quickly look away and I quickly caught on to the fact that she had something to say but isn't pushing her luck.
La- well any ideas yet
Lu- how about sofia
La- sounds good
Lu- am I allowed to make her a hemmings
La- sure
Lu - ok
And with that everything went back to silence. Not how I expected her to act but I'll get to the bottom of it all tonight
