Your bed is a wonderful place to be.

Until you spend two days crying there.

Your bed is so comfy and reassuring.

Until you spend two days crying there.

Then the sheets turn soft and fuzzy, and your pillow no longer has a cold side, and the blankets tangle around your feet.

Your bed isn't so wonderful then.

But it's not just the bed that isn't wonderful.

It's your life.

Everything seems to fall apart.

You break out because of salt clogging your pores from your tears. Your nose will hurt from wiping it with tissues. Your hair is all matted because you haven't brushed it.

Yet you still won't leave that damn bed.

Because when you go through that kind of pain, all your energy seems to disappear.

And so you're trapped in that bed, and you can't force yourself to get up.

You're literally down and out.
