Emma's POV
Well life is good I have two beautiful little girls, a good job, and an amazing boyfriend. Lily was now 5 and it makes me sad cause my baby girl is growing up. Azalea is now 2 and she just like Lily has an unknowable attachment to Killian. Its like no matter what child I have in life they will somehow attach themselves to Killian.
"Okay. Killian are they girls ready.... Oh wow." I say.
"Hi Mommy." Lily says.
"Hi Momma." Azalea says.
"Yes hi love." Killian says.
I dont know why, but this doesnt surprise me. Both of them are attached to Killian's leg and wont let him go.
"This is is the first time that they both have done that to you at the same time." I say.
"Yes I know love. Now could you please remove them from my leg." Killian says.
Its hard to get them away from him and it took some time, but I eventually did it. Killian's brother Liam was coming over to take them for the day so Killian and I could get to work. As always David sent us on patrol and Killian's hand was always on mine.
"You know I dont know what it is about you that makes them attach to you, but yet everyday thats just what they have to do." I say.
"Well after all this time I figured it out. I know why Lily attached herself to me right away. Just as I know why Azalea does it now." Killian says.
"Oh you do now. Okay please tell me." I say.
"Well it would seem its just a trait you passed down. Even before you knew me. It was like your child found what you have always wanted. Even when you didnt know it." He says.
"Your so full of yourself." I say.
"And you still love me dont you?" He questions.
"Well yeah." I say.
He lifted up my hand and kissed it and not just anywhere he kissed the ring he placed on my finger just last month.
"I love you Emma." He says.
"I love you too Killian." I say.
I had everything I could possible want. I came to this town as a Single Mother and now I not anymore. Cause I have someone who didnt just fall in love with me, but also my child. So what can I say Killian may have been a jerk at first, but eventually we found love and thats just fine with me.
