Chapter 9: Drinking and Dancing

Shawn's POV

 "Shawn's the name, singing's the game." I smile shaking hands with each of the boys. When it came to him, I felt like I was on cloud nine. His touch sent chills through my body and it made me want more. Kind of like how a drug addict is addicted to drugs; he was my drug. The only problem is that: 1) I just met him, 2) He probably felt nothing, and 3) I had a boyfriend.

"Hey Shawn did you know that-"

"Everyone this is Chris. Chris this is Liam, Zayn, Louis, Harry, and Niall of One Direction. And this is Eleanor and Danielle. Louis and Liam's girlfriends." I say grabbing a plate and piling one of everything on it.

"Simon wasn't lying. Niall you have competition." Liam laughed.

"Hey a girl's gotta eat. I ain't one of those girls to hide my true colours." I sassed taking a bite of the piece of pepperoni pizza that sat on my plate.

"Hey, we never said you weren't." Louis sassed back. I smiled and sat down next to Chris.

"So Chris what do you do?" Liam asked sitting down with Dani on his lap.

"I am starring in Morgan Liastry's movie Journey to My Heart as Oliver with Melissa Taylor who is playing Maryann." Chris grins showing them a few pictures of the set and casts. My phone starts to buzz and Noah's name lights the screen.

"Hello?" I answered standing up. Everyone went quiet and stared at me. "Just a sec."

Taking my phone away from my ear, I put it on speaker. "Everyone say hi to Noah. Noah say hi to Chris, Liam, Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn, Danielle, and Eleanor."

"Ello everyone." Noah laughs.

"Hey Noah." Everyone in the room choruses.

"Ok, well I am going to take this outside." I smile and take it off speaker phone and holding it back to my ear.

"So are those the guys you are opening up for?" Noah asks as I walk down the long hallway of the arena.

"Yeah. And Danielle and Eleanor are Louis and Liam's girlfriends and Chris is a friend starring in a movie for my dad. I mean for Morgan." I mumble pushing my blonde hair behind my ear.

"Seriously Shawn you aren't calling them mom and dad yet?" He sighed.

I can picture him with his feet on his desk and arms folded across his chest and his phone wedged between his ear and shoulder. His eyes would most likely be closed.

"Noah, you should understand why it is taking me this long." I groaned putting my back against a wall and sliding down it.

"I'm sorry babe. Anyway good news. The shop is getting an upgrade. We're moving to a bigger space and getting a grant."

"That's great Noah. Listen do you know when you can come to one of the concerts?"

"No Shawn. Hey listen my dad's back from the store so I gotta go. I'll call you later." And the call ended. I smiled to myself thinking how I got so lucky to have the best boyfriend in the world.

"Shawn come on we are going to get some drinks." Louis shouted pulling me up just to throw me over his shoulder.

"Louis put me down!!" I laughed.

"Never." He shouted back.

"Then you left me no choice but to do this. Lewis put me down." I smiled when he stopped right away after I said his name wrong. My feet hit the floor and Louis grasped my shoulders.
