Emi's POV

"Amazing job, Emi!" Hugh clapped me hard on the back. Ouch. I couldn't help smiling though. It felt good to be laughing with Hugh again. It reminded of the Lés Miserables period. Amidst of all the cheering and laughing, I heard my phone. *ding* I looked at it as a message popped out.

You got one new message.

Opening it up with curiosity, I saw that it was Jackson. I chuckle softly as I saw the message I received.

Jackson: 表演怎麼樣？是好吗？

translation: how was the performance? was it good?

I smile slowly and texted back, "是! 很高興我完成了! "

translation: yes! really happy that I'm done now!

Jackson: 我看到你在電視上跳舞！

Jackson: 你跳得很好

translation: I saw you dancing on television! You dance well

Emi: 哦! 謝謝!!! ありがとう!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼xP

translation: Oh! Thank you!!! Thank you (in Japanese)!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼xP

WOW. I didn't expect him to be so mature about this.

"Emi! We need to go meet other people now!" Zendaya was calling for me. "Quick!"

I look back at the text Jackson sent me and gave back a quick response.

Emi: thanks, dude. 😊I need to go, meeting with old friends now :)

Oh, shoot! The group hangout lunch! I have to remind him... I finish up the text with:

Emi: Get some sleep too ❤️Can't have you sleeping during tomorrow's lunch, right? 😜

I lock my phone and leave it on the dressing room table as I followed Zendaya out the room.

Jackson's POV

"Jackson! Your sister is on television!"

Mark and Bam Bam were yelling out for Jackson. Their eyes glued to the screen as they watched the Greatest Showman performance.

Jackson ran out of his room and glared at Mark and Bam Bam, "She isn't my sister. She's my best friend."

Why am I friend zoning her?

"Whatever, she's on TV, and she's amazingly good at dancing! Dude, did you see that? Did you see that?!" Bam Bam was practically screaming as he saw Emi's stunt. The double flip and perfect landing on the ground.

Wow. She's...amazing.

The television now showed Emi's face, smiling and rosy. She seemed to be looking and smiling brightly at someone, but it doesn't show who. Maybe a friend in the audience?

The next shot made Bam Bam shout out in delight. "THAT'S MY BOY! JUNGKOOOOOOOOOK! OH SHIEZER! IS THAT JIMIN HYUNG? I HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM SMILING THIS MUCH BEFORE!"

Me too...

"JIMIN HYUNGGG!"

Mark was laughing crazily as he tried to pull Bam Bam away from the screen which was showing his friends, BTS.

The TV screen cut to an ad and allowed Bam Bam to recover from his love for BTS. Seriously, that boy.

Jackson pulled out his phone and decided to text Emi congratulations on her performance.

Jackson: 表演怎麼樣？是好吗？

Hope she sees this soon...

Jackson sighs as he looks up towards the ceiling. It was only a few minutes until he heard *ding*

Emi: 是! 很高興我完成了!

Jackson grinned widely.

Jackson: 我看到你在電視上跳舞!

Jackson: 你跳得很好

Emi is typing...

Emi: 哦! 謝謝!!! ありがとう!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼xP

Cute. So cute. She only uses 'xP' or 'xD' when she's nervous or really happy...how should I respond?

Jackson smiled broadly but sighed deeply as he spread out his arms and legs across the sofa.

How am I ever going to tell her? Tomorrow's lunch maybe?
