Just like any other nights, the house remains silent and still. There are no other occupants but myself and SeokJin. He's only been here for a few days, yet it strangely feels forever. He is no longer a stranger to me and is an acquaintance by now. Anything further than that was improbable and ridiculous.
We are mere associates in need of another.
It is rather tranquil and noticeable if someone is trying to intrude inside the house. Thankfully, there haven't been any forced entry so far other than the four men who attempted to do so. I wonder what had happened to the other two men that were released.
Were they questioned by random strangers? Were they able to return back to their own homes unharmed? Are they somewhere safe, perhaps?
Thoroughly washing my hands, I step out of the bathroom and pondered what to do about today's schedule. If everything, or at least some of it goes according to my drafted plan, then I am able to proceed smoothly without panicking in intervals. I wasn't ready to give up just yet, not when I finally found Father's working whereabouts.
I didn't want to burst out hesitating about my next move. If anything, I was ready to bring Father back home without blinking an eye.
The darkness in my room remains the same with the supporting moonlight through the shattered window. Silence ensues afterwards and the glowing eyes caught my attention out of all matters. SeokJin sits on my bed, still as a predator preying on its food. His frozen like statue induced my stomach to twist once more.
"SeokJin ... why are you staring at me like that?" I frown through the dimly room, hoping that he could understand my actions this early morning. Whatever was running through his own head, I did not want to be involved in deeper than I already am. The nightmare that occurred a while ago is still integrated in my mind, but that was only a figment of my mind's imagination.
I had hoped for Father's return way much after discovering his whereabouts, only for the shadows of SeokJin to take over.
SeokJin remains in his space, yet inched off the bed as he inches closer to my direction. I could not discern his motives or intentions behind his movements, but I was prepared to defend myself. If whatever nonsense was bound to repeat once more then I will surely try my best to rationalize the situation.
I have to be patient, no matter what circumstance I've been placed upon. I've been capable living most of the years by myself without the supervision of my own parent. I know I can deal with this, even knowing that I am face to face with a werewolf that can turn into his human form.
Casually taking the situation normally, I cross my arms as he rests one palm against the door. SeokJin's eyes were beautifully glimmering a bright shade of gold against the dull darkness. I admit, it was honestly alluring to glance at several times. You'd have to check more than once to see whether his eyes were glowing or not.
"What are you going to do tomorrow, huh? Waste more time thinking about a safety plan to get through the building? Why don't you humans just barge in with other humans like you do to our territory?"
His clean-cut questions created an impact to instigate an argument, which I am deliberately not up for one right now. I still have to manage my tasks cleanly without gaining any unwanted attention. I still have to request for my official transcript and even prepare for any future events that's bound to happen.
To be frank, I am terrified on what I am going to do as of tomorrow. With SeokJin intervening with ridiculous questions that seems never-ending, all I wanted to do was to hit him with a frying pan to shut his mouth. I just needed him to stop inquiring so many questions that I obviously don't have the answers to.
