My eyes widened at his sudden statement before looking down at my private area.

His abrupt appearance took me by surprise the moment he holds my left hand up.

I sighed in grave relief that I wasn't bleeding from that area. It would be the most mortifying timing if I had my period now out of all days. It's too early for my period to come back.

The pain finally registers and I scrutinize at my bleeding palm. My mouth gaps open at the sight of the trickling blood.

"Oh, I didn't realise it was there." I laughed it off, studying the sharp line of the scar in amusement. The small wound glimmered against the kitchen lights. I don't know where I got this from, but I would have known the moment the pain presses on me.

I glance up at SeokJin, whose grip remains on my wrist. He was frowning, almost as if the sight of blood irritated him. He was being discreet again and my heart races at his unknown retaliation.

"Hey, SeokJin, why are you looking at my ghostly wound like that?" I interject before he attempted to do anything. I don't retract my arm back by force and instead, ease the tension sitting on my stomach. His strength overwhelms my own and I haven't observed enough methods to defend myself.

It didn't look as if SeokJin was about to hound onto me from the sight of the wound.

"You're clumsy, aren't you?" SeokJin comments in a dry tone and I laugh it off once more without going overboard. The milieu sets to a gloomy sensation and the bitter tranquility felt disturbing.

What he did next paralyses me.

His tongue licks the surface of my flesh and I cringe at the ticklish sensation. He licks it several times and I grip onto the counter to endure this random moment.

"S-SeokJin-"

Before I could pull away, the unknown scar on my palm recedes and the wound is no longer there. Not even a single trace of the sharp line remains. I shudder a shaky sigh and eyed at SeokJin.

"Wow." I could only utter under my breath, now examining my palm in admiration. I wonder what other abilities SeokJin has besides licking wounds off.

"If you are this clumsy, then I doubt you can protect yourself from any random injuries." SeokJin suppresses from chuckling.

"Hm, well, yeah. I wonder. I guess I'm used to it then." I play it off cool and head over to the sink to wash my palm. Even though his werewolf licking method to heal my wound was practical, I felt it to be so odd if I didn't wash my hands. Once cleaned and dry, I turn around and counter up with a new question.

"Right, I wanted to ask you something. How did you change so fast without hurting yourself? Isn't changing forms really painful that you almost end up bleeding a bit?"

I've watched a few movies based on werewolves. The changing of a person into a creature looked painful and I admit, I almost wanted to throw up. I felt a little bad for the person, yet I recalled that it was only a computer-generated imagery. It didn't do the real person behind the scene any harm at all.

Films nowadays do have the technology to make people feel certain emotions.

SeokJin simply grins at my remark before grabbing for the glass of water ... which was the one that I've used just now. He finishes the remains and releases a satiated exhale before looking back at me.

"That's a very good question. I'd be more than inclined to tell you about it, if you prepare for our next meal." He implies and I reply with perplex before taking a peek at the window.
