Out of all things that could happen inside a home, this isn't what came into mind.

If Mother were to be alive right now, she would probably faint at the mess more than the presence of a werewolf and two bodies. I wouldn't know how to explain to my parents, yet they weren't here to physically see it. I'd have to deal with this myself, which is rather stressing compared to college.

I just had to be smart to rid of any other evidence that could easily be found in this house. As messy as it is right now, I must be efficient in managing my time to finish at least half of my assignments and to figure out a plan.

The delivery man arrived thirty minutes later after I ordered. He held a shocked face, even when I tried my best to hide what's behind with my small frame. I couldn't blame his reaction. I was also ready to blast through space and yell SeokJin's name in anger. He made me do more work than necessary.

Hiding the fact that my home became a mess because of the said intruder, I stated that my friends were drunk and that we were fine. He brought the act and the money, leaving me with the warm pizza that I had been craving for since this morning.

Within those thirty minutes, I had tried to clean at least the smallest things possible without harming my body. That included dusting the glass cups using the broom. Cleaning the dirt up using the broom too. Basically, cleaning up any physical objects that could harm my flesh had to be cleared.

SeokJin was right on time to drag the second body upstairs. I didn't want to leave any fingerprints on their uniforms. I'm already caught up in this mess of wanting my Father to return and keeping SeokJin alive for that matter.

I felt strange and slightly shocked that I wasn't running in fear that two human beings were devoured by SeokJin. I am a full human myself, but knowing the trust between him and I, I knew he wouldn't try to rip my throat out. Perhaps he needed me for my brain and knowledge of the modern technology, whereas I'd need SeokJin to infiltrate through the hidden lair.

Honestly, a moment in this short life has never crossed my mind. It felt like an adventure was bound to spawn out even before I attempt to hunt for jobs. Despite that, I wasn't sure if I should prioritize hunting for jobs or to get my lifespan halved by treading on dangerous territories.

Life is short and I wanted Father to come back home. He doesn't need to suffer the masses of paperworks. It wouldn't bring Mother back alive anyway. Father needs to see and comprehend that reality. He needs to stop dawdling onto the past and instead, focus onto his own present.

Heavy footsteps wade down the stairs. Already on my second piece of the pepperoni, I glance up from the half cleaned space to the bloody figure of SeokJin. He held a rather heavy expression on his face and I felt unsure whether he was still hungry or not.

Placing the second half-eaten pizza back inside the box, I dust my palms together before making my way towards SeokJin.

His eyes follow my steps and I reprimand myself from running like a maniac the moment he revealed his bloody teeth into a smile. I try to remain calm and composed, as if this has happened everyday. I wasn't used to the sight of blood just yet, but somehow when it was on SeokJin, his grey eyes made everything better.

"So ... what did you do with the bodies?" My question almost came out as a whisper. It was difficult to look at him straight in the eyes when specks of blood were around his body. It was mostly on his body, which I felt glad that he had a shirt and pants on. The blood tainted everywhere except his perfectly proportioned face.

It made him look an angel, but it's a devil in an exquisite disguise.

"I buried them." His lips tugged wider and I grab the damp towel by the kitchen counter. I return back to SeokJin and did my best to keep a straight face.
