[ Walk Tall ]

A noticeable gash of red line runs from my wrist to my nape, marked with four other tiny holes that resembled more or less a mosquito bite. They occupied nicely on my tanned skin, enlightened by the fluorescent lights as I glare at the person responsible for this. There is a hearty grin on his face, but I wasn't having any of it.

To be frank, I was rather frightened on the inside. His fangs penetrated deeply into my flesh, leaving me sightly scarred and haunted. I had never felt a traumatizing agony so painful. It is worse compared to a toddler biting on a solid surface. Their bite marks are noticeable, but not enough to induce terrifying pain.

My legs were almost shaking, yet I am standing confidently.

SeokJin was rather enjoying this and I had no idea how calm and composed I was right now.

I felt far from cheery, albeit the pulsating agony subsided minutes ago. I didn't want to say anything to him. I was downright pissed at what he did earlier. My lungs and chest felt like burning from the pressure of his weight. The harsh bites didn't elevate the agony as I was paralysed to stay still.

"If you're done with the entertainment, would you please do the honors of cutting loose whatever power you have over me and let me sleep for the remaining hours?" I groan loudly, keeping my glower at his relaxed form leaning against the ceramic walls.

Raising my arms and standing in front of the mirror for a few minutes was more than enough to tire me out. I don't understand why SeokJin is doing this, either for his own joy or the already mentioned warning in the subtlest way possible.

A chuckle is his response and he doesn't move away from the walls just yet. He was having the 'best' time standing in the middle of the bathtub whilst observing me suffer. I had lost count of how many seconds I've raised my arm up for the both of us to survey.

I've seen better works of art compared to this crap. This was only just a mild warning and it affected my whole system too.

"Why do you think I'd incline to that?" He grins and SeokJin's abrupt change of attitude presses the hurtful sentiment to explode. However, no matter how convulsed and vexed I felt, I have to remain professional in hopes that circumstances like these could be avoided.

I finally grasped the urge to roll my eyes as dramatically as possible. Time was running out as we're wasting it on silly occasions like this. I don't know whose more broken, SeokJin or myself. I don't like how he's acting up and his actions reveal how our trust is beginning to crumble. I'm taking this situation as seriously as possible, but I can't tell the same for his side.

We were just arguing relentlessly without context and purpose.

"Because technically, you wouldn't be here right now if I didn't help you. And for the love of God, SeokJin, just because I'm still waiting doesn't mean I'm not trying to do something. We can't just barge in to their headquarters and shout 'hey! we're going to go on a rampage here!' It doesn't work like that!" I stopped myself from losing energy by adding fuel to the fire.

We were absolutely going no where with this endless bickers.

He chuckles once more and my racing heart sends signals that whatever came next isn't going to be good.

SeokJin steps out of the bathtub in one swift motion before standing behind me. My left arm was still raised at a painful forty-five degree angle mid-air. My eyes remained keen and discreet for whatever motives he had coming next. The smile on his face could mean anything and by anything could either be good or bad news.

I gasp as he presses a finger on my waist, quite hardly to the point where I almost stumbled out of my spot. Another finger presses on the other side, which eventually stops me from stumbling sideways.
