Sniper's P.O.V.

I was standing on the highest point of Barnblitz, where a ladder was leaning against the side of a building. I knew everyone was going to yell at me, especially Soldier, but I don't care. They know that I'm better farther away from the action. I squatted on the roof, trying to make sure my brand new Sydney Sleeper had the Jarate bullets in it. I chuckle a bit. Boy, was the Blu Spy going to be surprised.

I looked up for a second and saw Medic jogging alongside Heavy as they went to the front lines. I felt a burst of jealousy in me, but I instantly brushed it aside. I can't be with the Doc. Who knows what'll happen to us if the team finds out we're together, IF we even get together.

I look up as the Administrator calls out to the Blu team. "Welcome lambs, to the slaughter!" I shiver slightly when I heard that. I may work for her, but that doesn't mean I like hearing her voice.

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1!"

I sat up a bit when I heard the alarm signaling that the Blu team was able to attack now.

I got out my Kukri and started to clean it. It was still bloody from the last battle. I kept an eye out for any of the Blu's teammates, when the sound of the Administrator rang across the field.

"The enemy has received additional time."

"Piss," I mumbled. One down, two to go.

I heard creaking coming from my left side. I was thankful that I had out my Kukri right now. I raised it, waiting for the familiar warped shadow that the Spy's cloak does. Suddenly, I heard the sound of a gun cocking behind me.

The man chuckled. "And 'ou say zat 'ou are always alert."

I swung my Kukri behind me, but from the lack of noise, I know I missed. As I started to turn back to my original position, I felt burning sensation of a knife being stabbed into my side. I gripped my wound, and felt myself being kicked to the ground. I fell hard on my back, knocking the wind out of me.

"Zat was for getting blood on my suit."

I saw the Blu Spy jump of from the roof, and he landed directly onto my stab wound. I howled in pain, hoping my team would come rescue me.

"Zat was for throwing 'our piss at me."

I growled and yelled, "Ya bloody Spoi! The onleh thing you're good at is hidin'!" He snarled at me, furious.

Why did I say that?!

He grabbed his cigarette and pushed it near my wound. I screamed louder.

"Zat was for being a smart mouth."

I saw the Blu Spy take out his revolver, and point it and me. I wasn't able to do anything. I was in too much pain.

"And zis...," he moved the gun towards my heart, "is for all zhe you've "killed" me. Au revoir, bushman." BANG!

Medic's P.O.V

I shook my head in frustration. I kept thinking that there was some noise coming from the third checkpoint. I eventually decided to check it out.

"Heavy! I vant to check somezhing out. I vill be gone for a bit."

"Ok, Doktor! But come back soon. Leettle Blus are coming back."

I nodded and started to run over to the second checkpoint. It was then I saw him. Sniper was laying in a pool of blood. He was barely moving at all, and it looked like he wasn't even breathing. I dropped everything and rushed over to him, and fell to the ground. No, I thought. He can't be dead! I never got to tell him... I looked rapidly for the cause of his bleeding and found it instantly.

I pressed down on his wound, and reached for my Quick-Fix, but found nothing. I looked back and saw it laying near the second checkpoint. I cursed myself. If I left to go get it, he might bleed out. I grabbed his wrist and checked the watch that Mann Co. gave to us to tell us how much health we had. He had 15 health. I breathed a sigh of relief. He wasn't dead. From the corner of my eye, I saw his fingers twitch.

"Doc..." Sniper's voice was gravelly, as if he swallowed rocks.

"Vhat? Vhat iz it?" I gripped his hand tighter, and saw him wince in pain.

"Doc, Oi've been wantin' ta tell ya somethin' for a while now, and now seems like a good time." I looked at him in confusion. What was he talking about?

"The truth is...," he looked at me in the eyes, "Oi loike ya."

My face immediately flushed red and I tried speaking, but I couldn't. Is this real? Sniper...likes me?! I looked back at him as he started speaking again.

"Oi've been wantin' ta tell ya for a long toime, but Oi never got the chance ta. And even if ya don't loike me, can ya please not tell the others? I don't want any of them ta know. I'm scared about what they'll say if they know."

I looked down at the watch. 3 health left. I lifted his face towards mine, leaned down so my face was close to his, and whispered, "Aber ich liebe dich, Sniper." I pulled his face towards mine, and kissed him with all the love that I felt for him. I pulled away, and noticed that he stopped breathing. I felt tears start to swell up. And I only got to tell him now.

Just then, I heard the sound of laughter from near the building where the final checkpoint was. It was our Scout.

"That was the best thing I evah saw, and I seen a lotta things." I stared at him in shock. He must have noticed, cause he started laughing even harder. "Ya know he's gonna respawn, right?" I blush from embarrassment. How could we forget?

"I can't wait tell I tell our team. They're gonna have a field day with this." I rose up from the ground, twitching in fury. Scout saw this and backed away.

"Jou tell zhem and I vill end jou." Scout nodded and ran away, terrified. I chuckled and went to pick up my equipment. I looked at the Blus that were slowly pushing the cart and grinned. "Let's go practice medicine."
