THIS STORY IS GOING TO BE A THREE PART SERIES! I am going to give you some background information so you guys aren't confused. There are going to be two new characters; one is a female, the other a male, both siblings. Each one of them has their own section in this series. They were both recruited as "backup mercenaries", which meant that they would have to replace any mercenary that was out on a mission for Ms. Pauling. This series is going to dabble on some sensitive topics (the second one contains the majority of the sensitive topics). I will put an author's note at the beginning and end of the second chapter discussing what is it, why I wrote it, and my views on this topic. Thank you for reading this, and I hope you enjoy my new update!~

(E/C)- Eye color
(H/C)- Hair color

Your P.O.V.

A yell echoed throughout the empty hallway of the base. I couldn't turn back, because I knew turning back would slow me down. I picked up the pace, thankful for the all the training I had to do with Scout. My mind wasn't able to process where I was in the building, but the smell of some delicious bacon guided me.

Another yell erupted from behind me. I turned the corner and saw the one thing that could save me. The dining room!

I pushed myself even hard, feeling nothing in my worn-out legs. A third yell, surprisingly close, came out of the man chasing me. The dining room's door was only a few feet away. I can do this!

I reach my hand out to grab the handle when the door suddenly opened. I was barely able to stop when my foot tripped over the other, causing me to fall onto the dining room floor. A concerned looking Scout was still holding the door when Soldier charged in, holding his Disciplinary Action.

"Uh," Scout began. "What?" I looked around us and saw that everyone was staring at us. I noticed Spy was missing from the table. The panting American wearing a helmet walked up to me. I covered my ears, awaiting his "You're late to breakfast" speech.

"YOU HAVE FAILED ME AGAIN, MAGGOT! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WAKE UP AT 0600 HOURS! INSTEAD, YOU DECIDED TO WAKE UP AT 0601 HOURS! YOUR FOOLISHNESS HAS COST BOTH OF US A WARM BREAKFAST! YOU BETTER NOT KEEP THIS UP, OR I WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET PUNISHED!" Soldier then turned to grab his plate and began to walk to the table.

(B/N) walked over to me, reaching out a hand. I gratefully take it and let him pick me up.

"You alright?" He asks. I can only nod my head, not trusting myself on trying to speak.

He sits me down on the nearest chair at the table. He leaves, mumbling something about food. A glass is pushed in my direction. I glanced over to see who gave me the glass and saw it was Medic, who was smiling softly. I smiled back and drank the entire glass in one go. A plate was placed in front of me and I felt someone kiss me on the top of my head.

"Thanks, (B/N)." He chuckled.

"You know, you should do what I do." I hummed, asking him to continue. "Set your alarm 10, maybe 15 minutes before 6. That way, you can change and get here in time so Soldier doesn't try to kill you again."

"Easy for you to say. You're room is practically 10 feet away from the dining room!"

(B/N) smirked. "20 minutes then." I playfully smacked his arm. He laughed and backed away from me, holding his hands up in front of him to signal his peace offering.

I rolled my eyes at him, scooped up some eggs that were on my plate, and shoved them into my mouth. My eyes lit up when I tasted the eggs. It's been so long since I've eaten these! I glanced around, searching for the fire-loving, gas mask-wearing mercenary who was responsible for cooking these delicious eggs.
