Medic's P.O.V.

I was alone in my room. I could feel the cold draft coming from the open window. It was silent as always, but it wouldn't be silent anymore.

I turned away from the window, staring at the grandfather clock that was right next to the door. One minute before he would come.

I sighed, fixing my collar and my tie. I couldn't wait for the report Archimedes would have for me.

He flew in right as the clock struck 12. Right on time.

He landed on his perch in front of me, flapping his wings a couple of seconds before hanging upside down.

"Zat's a gud bat," I cook, rubbing his head with my finger. Archimedes chirped quietly, saying, "I know where she is."

"Oh, veally?

"Yes, Master. She's by the willow tree."

"Perfect." I chuckled to myself. "Ve vill have a new guest here, Archimedes. I vant everyzing veady vhen I get back."

"Of course, Master."

Archimedes flew out the window once more.

I smoothed my hair back and straightened my suit.

Soon.

Your P.O.V.

I were sitting down near the big willow tree, fiddling with a small twig. I was suffering from recurring nightmares, and this was the one place that could calm me down.

I always dreamed about a man. Tall, dark hair, rounded glasses. He had a slight accent, but I couldn't tell where he was from. He rarely said anything, instead deciding to circle around me. Watching.

I were tied in a chair and he would walk around me, whispering things to himself as he did so. I always tried saying something, but as soon as I opened my mouth, I felt a burning pain on my neck.

He would start laughing then. A deep, hypnotizing laughter. I could almost fall asleep to it. I almost did, until a harsh silence forced you to open my eyes.

All was silent until he decided to say two words. Two words that chilled me to my bone.

"You're mine."

All I felt next was pain. Pain from my neck, my arms, my chest, and I was screaming and crying for help, "Oh, please help me! Somebody help me!"

I shook my head, scolding myself. I was supposed to try to relax here, not remember my dream.

A small chitter-like noise caught my attention. I looked up and saw a bat hanging upside down on a branch above me. I stood up slowly and began to walk to the bat. It's sounded like it was wounded for some reason.

I kept walking until I was standing directly below it. I reached out to pet it, but it hissed at me. Did bats even hiss though?

"Are you ok, little bat?" I cooed. The bat shook its head any question. No.

I almost gasped. Did it know what I was saying? Or did it just happen to shake its head at the right time?

I lifted one of my arms, pointing at something in the distance. "Do you want to come home with me? I can check if you're hurt, if you want me to."

The bat looked at my finger, then at me. It tried to fly to my finger, but fell to the ground instead. I rushed over, my mind yelling at me to Get away from that bat! It could give you some type of sickness, then what are your parents going to say about this?!
