Alright, everyone. I finally finished this chapter. I know, it's an absolute piece of shit, but you know what? I finally finished it. So whatever. Here's the summary of what happened in the previous chapter. I will also put a short and sweet TRDL at the end of this chapter too, soooo yeah. Please enjoy. :)

TRDL: Medic suffers from PTSD because of *cough* certain events in WW2. During a battle on the Barnblitz map, he has a panic attack and is suffering alone in a hidden that one respawn area that practically nobody actually spawns in (the one on ground level that's right next to the final checkpoint). You, the reader, come across him and manage to calm him down. Later, after the battle, Medic reveals to you that he was in a camp because of his sexuality. (Jesus Christ, what did I write?). His love was murdered by Medic's brother while they (Medic and his lover) were in the camp. He then reveals to you that he fell in love with you. At the end of the chapter, you reveal to Medic that you were enlisted to fight in the Vietnam War. That's where this chapter begins.

Medic started at me. A few seconds passed until he finally utter, "Vhat?"

I avoided his gaze, staring at a little spot on a floor tile.

"I said I was drafted to fight in Vietnam."

He stood up abruptly. "Nein. Das kann nicht passieren. Nicht heute. Nicht jetzt."

He shook his head, turning away from me. I stood up and started to put my hand on his shoulder. He pulled away abruptly, and I saw tears falling down his face.

"How could jou do zhis to me?", he muttered.

"I didn't want to, Medic. But I had to tell you."

"Nein. You could have just zaid zhat you vere visiting somevun. Zhat you vere going to college. Not going to fight in a var!" He said, his voice raising up to a roar.

I hung my head down in shame. "I'm sorry, Medic," I murmured. "I should have known better." I turned and hurriedly walked away from Medic. He didn't try to stop me.

Behind me, I heard the thud of knees hitting tile and the quiet weeping of the broken German that I loved.

1 week later

Medic still hasn't talked to me after the news. I told everyone else after I told Medic. I saw everyone trying to hide their shocked expressions when I told them, but it was too late. I already saw it.

I walked out the door to the base, a small suitcase in hand. Everyone was gathered a little ways away, talking in hushed voices.

I start to walk towards them when I feel someone grab my shoulder. I turn around, and see Medic.

"Look, I vant to apologize for vhat I did last veek. It's just..." He looked away quickly.

"I have lost zo many people zhat I loved to a var. I don't vant to lose jou too."

I forced a smile on my face. "You won't lose me Medic. I'm a pretty tough guy, you know?"

He had the ghost of a smile on his face. "Jah. But vhy do jou have to go? Ve can just zay zhat jou died fighting here."

"And how are we going to manage that?" I sarcastically ask.

"Ve kill jou, zhen bring jou back to life vhen zhey leave."
