how remarkable this is
for mother nature
does her magic
rewards us with
white fluffiness
covered on every acre
how mysterious she is
she chooses the time
that she needs to appear
kicks us out of school
gives people aches
a sudden coldness
resonates through me
it the type of cold
which comes with snowflakes
mother nature is relentless
yet we enjoy this lovely day off
i look out the window
to see mother nature's progress
watching the flakes go by
just like time and life
it's such a rarity
to have a weekday off
from homework
from learning
from stressful events
but i feel for mother nature
she never stops
or never gets a break
but what a enigma it is
how we get days off
from mother nature's working
but mother nature herself
never gets a break
after all the work she does
