you approach me
and you say "hey"
i say "hey" back
when someone
tries to kill your soul
i became your solace
he destroyed
what was left of you
yet i was your pillow
our tears were shed
our laughter was deep
our secrets were locked
a century ago
we locked arms
now it's just
a wave and small talk
my eyes never saw you
like they did once upon a time
you are still my friend
and i am still your friend
we never see each other
but there's a fact for sure
that we both miss each other
and i cannot wait
until we can hang out
since it's been a month
since we last hung out
just you and me
