because of me
I made your day rough
because of me
I destroyed your life
because of me
our friendship will forever change
it may seem like there is no hope
but I know that there is
there is hope
on the other side
of the rainbow
it feels far
but it's pretty close
I wish I can tell you
how many times
that I'm geniunely sorry
you know that I didn't mean
for the whole thing to happen
if anything
the message should have not
popped up
the message should have
not destroyed us
the message should have
never been a thing
now I feel like nothing
can and ever will be the same
you're my best friend
and I hurt my best friend
why are messages so cruel
the thoughts are swirling
the thoughts that I hate thinking
will I ever be forgiven?
deprived of accidentally destroying you?
why do accidents change us
I'm sorry for the umpteenth time
you don't deserve this
and I don't deserve you
I know it wasn't my fault
or your fault
but faults damage the heart
my heart is shattered
and I'm not sure if the pieces
will fix themselves together
