Breath of Fresh Air (MS Kisumi x Reader)

This is my own idea because it was spinning through my mind for awhile. I swear Kisumi is so cute that I want to kiss his face ! ANYWHO! Enjoy the story.

I, (L/N)(Y/N), have been friends with Makoto and Haru since elementary school. Makoto is an absolute angel, the most kindest friend you can ever have. Haru, he's strange but I find him cool despite his love for water and obsession for mackerel. However, there's one particular person who I have my eye for: Shigino Kisumi. I can't help but love sigh every time I think about him in class.

"Asahi, Haru!" Kisumi called "Let's have lunch together!" Kisumi brought his table in front Haru's while Asahi put his on both the tables. "That's my cue!" I thought to myself. I got up my table and walked to the boys. "Aw man, there's no space for me at all" I pretended to be disappointed "Looks like I need to sit on your lap again, Kisumi. This is actually my favorite habit. "Seriously, (Y/N), why don't get a chair?" Asahi asked. I shot daggers at him telling him to be quiet. "It's fine, Asahi you'll get your turn another time" Kisumi teased. Asahi puffed his cheeks with anger. "Come here, (Y/N)" Kisumi patted his lap. I was internally screaming inside. "Yay!" I sat on his lap.

"What do you have for lunch, (Y/N)?" Kisumi looked over my shoulder. "Mom's famous dumplings! Try it!" I took one of the dumplings and held out to him. From my hand, Kisumi took a bite "It tastes delicious! Can I have another?" As he reached for another but I slapped his hand. "Hey, eat your own lunch!" I demanded. "Aww come on, (nickname), pleeaaase" Kisumi pouted. He was so adorable, I couldn't help it. My cheeks turned bright pink when he laid his chin on my shoulder. "Ok fine!" I fed him another  dumpling and patted his head afterwards. "Don't you think you're treating him like a dog?" Asahi raised his eyebrow at me. "Hey, it's not his fault that he is an adorable dumpling." I said it out of the blue. "Uh what?" Asahi narrowed his eyes. I looked away "What? I didn't saying!" Kisumi didn't say a word but I heard his bewitching chuckle. As for Haru, he's just sitting quietly enjoying his mackerel.

~As time goes by~
I was walking home with Haru and Makoto then suddenly Haru said out of blue "(Y/N), if you really like Kisumi that much then you should just confess to him". My face turned red like Asahi's hair "W-whaaa, since when are you the relationship advisor?". Makoto chuckled "Haru's right, (nickname), you should tell him". "I don't know" I twirled my fingers " He is a breath of fresh air when I'm around him, but will he return my feelings?". Mako assured me with his iconic smile "You never know until you try". I was a bit hesitant but I nodded and I was willing to try.

It was nighttime and I was thinking a perfect way to confess to Kisumi. "What should I do?" I tapped on my notebook with my pen. I didn't want to go for "meet me at the certain location cliché". I thought I should have a one on one then I'll tell him. Or... I should send him secret admirer letter until he figures it out. "No that's creepy!" I hit my head on the desk. I laid my head in the notebook for half an hour until I got my self a PERFECT idea!

So I decided to start with that cliché and meet Kisumi under a tree near the basketball court. I took a deep breath while waiting for him and remembering my lines. That is until... "Hi, (nickname)!" I heard his charming. I turned around I saw the sweet cotton haired boy with his adorable smile. I forgot everything I was supposed to do. Kisumi looked concerned "Is there something wrong?". I slightly shook my head while looking down. I was a blushing mess and my tongue was tied. "Are you sure?" He put his hand on my forehead to check my temperature "You seem warm. Do you want me to take you to the nurse?" He asked. "No, I'm fine! Really!" I assured " It's just that I got s-something to tell you". "What is it then" He adorably titled his head.
I only remembered the part of the plan so I grabbed his hand and said "Shigino, say your name." He had a confused look in his face "Kisumi?". I leaned in and gave him a peck on lips. I then realized that was the second part of plan AFTER I confess to him. " Gah! I'm so sorry!" I bowed to him " I know that was out of the blue but..." I was interrupted by a kiss on the nose " You're so cute, (Y/N)! I already know!". "Huuuh?" I couldn't believe my ears. Kisumi giggled at my reaction "You seemed pretty obvious but I thought it was cute" Kisumi explained. "Does that mean ...?" I realized. Kisumi puts his arm around "Of course! I like you, (Y/N)". My face turned red but I felt a bit of relief. I sighed and all the nervousness went away. I wrapped my arms around him and he did the same. "You're so refreshing, Kisumi, a breath of fresh air."

~As time goes by~
It was lunch time and I still use Kisumi as a chair. "Seriously, (Y/N)" Asahi rolled his eyes at me. "What ? I can't sit on my boyfriend's lap?". "Eeeeeeeeeeeeh?!" Asahi exclaimed while Haru was enjoying his grilled mackerel.
