The Kissing Booth (Makoto x reader)

This is inspired by the movie by Netflix "the Kissing Booth". The scene really touched my heart

"Forget it!" I shouted at the strawberry obsessed loli Nagisa Hazuki. Nagisa got this crazy idea for the festival, approved by the school, a kissing booth! He wanted to me to the person being kissed. I never kissed anyone so I shouldn't participate in this booth. "Oh, come on, (N/N)!" He pleaded "Think about the charity!" I shook my head "You really need to get through your head, Nagisa!" I exclaimed "I can't just kiss random people, it's wrong!" Besides, who else would participate in the booth? "But you won't be the only one, Rei will participate!" We turned to Rei who was in a gloomy corner. "Wouldn't Nagisa be jealous though?" I thought to myself.

Honestly, I wanted my first kiss to be special. There was a certain someone that I wanted to have my first kiss with, but I never got the chance to tell him how I felt. I thought that I might not get the chance again. Gou Matsuoka, the swim team's club manager saw my saddened look. She thought an idea.

~As time goes by~
I finally said yes to Nagisa's crazy idea. I was in a real pickle. I was behind the curtain of the Kissing Booth, seeing Nagisa and Iwatobi dressed as cupids. "Come one, come all" Nagisa called " Welcome to Iwatobi's 'Kiss the Mermaid' booth! Here we have our participants!" Rei and I walked out on stage. There were some of people lining up. "Here we have the beautiful (Y/N) (L/N) and the handsome Rei Ryugazaki! They will be blind folded while they are getting the smooches" Nagisa explained "For 2000 yen, you can get a kiss so line up!".

Rei and I exchanged nervous look before we put on our blindfolds. "Ok, here's our first customers!" I heard Nagisa's voice. Footsteps started to approach, I sensed a person right in front of me. "Uh, Hey there." I chuckled nervously "Before we do this, I want to let you know I haven't kissed anyone so the kiss might not be that g..." I was interrupted by the lips of the person on mine. His lips felt soft and tasted sweet, it wasn't so bad. "Wait..." I thought. Once we stopped kissing, I took off my blindfold and I saw my long time crush.

"Makoto?" My eyes widened. My first kiss was actually with Makoto Tachibana. He gave me one of his sweetest smiles, his cheeks were tint pink. I stared into his green eyes until I leaned for another kiss. This time was more passionate, I was on cloud nine. I heard the cheers of the audience, I couldn't help but giggle. Mako rested his forehead on mine "See? It wasn't so bad." I nodded in agreement.

Later, I decided to leave the Kissing Booth. Gou decided to take my place. I was walking hand in hand with the guy of my dreams around the festival. "Hey, Makoto tell me was it also your first kiss too?" I caught his face turning red.  I really love how shy he was. "W-well it was." He answered "The fact that a lot of people watching made me nervous."  I blushed too. "But, at least Gou gave me the encouragement" he gave me another smile. "Wow, Kou planned this?" My jaw dropped. I smiled widely for having such a great friend like her. I wrapped my arms around Makoto's arms " I really like you" I confessed " For a long time now" Makoto stopped me just to kiss my forehead then to my lips. " I like you too, (Y/N)"
We continued to enjoy the festival.
