Fluff Monster (Sousuke x Reader)

Sousuke and I had been dating for almost a month but when it came to PDA, I was doing all the work. When I wanted to get a kiss hello whenever I meet him at his swimming practice, he would just look away and say "Not in public, (Y/N)." He would let me cuddle with him when we're alone in his dorm. In public, it feels like typical "Notice me senpai!" cliché .

Friday afternoon in the Samezuka dorm, I decided to see Rin to ask him for an advice. It was thanks to him that Sousuke and I met.  I was sitting on the chair of his desk while he was sitting on his bed, listening to my rant.

"It feels like I'm trying too hard, Rin" I explained my situation to him " When I hug him in public, he doesn't hug back, when I try to kiss him, he avoids being kissed." I sighed.

"Well it is kinda embarrassing." Rin pointed out "In our point of view, it looks like you need him so bad." I blushed at his statement.

"Shut up! It's not like that!" I exclaimed "I need some affection."  To keep this between you and I, I did have those "thoughts"

"'Affection' you say?" He grinned at me showing shark teeth.

"Rin, I swear to Lady Samezuka I'll knock your shark teeth out" I held my fist to his face.

"Ok, calm down" He protected myself with his pillow.

"Look, Rin, Sousuke is my first boyfriend so I can get really insecure about our relationship" I hugged my knees to comfort myself on the chair "I'm afraid he thinks I'm being too clingy or that our relationship is boring."

"Oh no don't worry, (Y/N), he likes you a lot" Rin assured " he doesn't show it but he gets really nervous around you. You're his first girlfriend and his first kiss."

I turned red " When did you..." . Rin laughed at my shocked expression.

"Sousuke didn't know that 'Gentlemen never kisses and tells'" Matsuoka said "Anywho, just give him time, okay?"He was right, even though I would love some physical contact, I would wait for him.

"Alright thanks, Sharkboy" I nodded. Rin threw his pillow at me.

"Don't call me that!" He yelled. I threw back the pillow and decided to leave. As I was opening the door, I saw Sousou coming back from his afternoon jog.

"Oh hey, (Y/N)" Yamazaki greeted me with a smile. Usually I would kiss him on the cheek but after my talk with Rin, I decided not to.

"Hi, Sousou" I greeted him back "I got go run some errands. Later!" I ran out out of room thinking I was doing him a favor but little did I know that Sousuke was surprised that I didn't do anything.

As the week passed through, I avoided giving him hugs and kisses. All I did was watch him swim during practice and telling him how awesome he was. We walked home together without holding hands and I was greeted without giving him a kiss. Without my knowledge, Sousou didn't like my sudden change.

~ As time goes by ~
Saturday morning, I was chilling in my room reading some "Interviews with Monster Girls" mangas.  I honestly thought to myself I did act like Hikari when it comes to Sousuke. I missed giving him affection despite his shyness.
I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" I called. It was Sousuke. "Oh hey, Sousou."
He lay on my bed with his typical serious face. We were in comfortable silence until ...

"So I talked to Rin yesterday" He broke the silence. My cheeks turned pink because God knows what Sharkboy said to him.

"W-what did he tell you?" I asked anxiously .

He put his arms around my waist" I'm sorry for how I acted lately." He apologized "It's all so new to me."

I blushed at his gesture "Oh no, it's my fault for coming on too strong." I assured him. I placed my book on my nightstand and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"No you weren't. It just that I'm a little..." Yamazaki mumbled at the last part.

"What's that?" I questioned "You're a little what?"

Sousou's cheeks turned pink. I could tell that he was embarrassed.

"Oh I see" I realized" you're shy, aren't ya?"

He turned red. He dug his face into my neck to hide his embarrassment. I giggled at his shyness. I then smirk mischievously and decided to tease him a little. I leaned in and kiss his forehead. "You're adorable you know that?"

"Please don't say that" he said anxiously. I hovered above him and gave him kisses all over his face.

"Well, it's true" I put my head on his chest.

Sousou didn't like that I was the predator in this situation. So he decided to switch roles. He hovered above me and our lips connected. My head was spinning. It felt warm and passionate than our first kiss.  He lowered himself and kissed my neck. I was surprised at his actions but it felt good.

"S-Sousou, what are you doing?" I asked.

Our eyes connected. His teal eyes were full of passion and affection or... something more.

"I'll make sure you won't call me adorable again." He stated with a smirk on his face. It took me a while to guess, however that day Sousou didn't exactly turn into a fluff monster.

—-Aftermath—
"Why is (Y/N) so happy today?" Rin asked
"Nothing much I just gave her some 'affection'"  Sousuke replied with an obvious hint.
Rin did a poker face

My fingers are trembling... I'll walk myself out
