Well well well, not only our royal couple is a visual winner but they also have some serious chemistry going on between them. If you don't know what I mean just go to our front page to see the photo. And if you still can't understand then I am afraid you might be blind. But jokes apart it sure will be a hard transition from being a Yilmaz to suddenly being a Papadopoulos. At least I wish the Yilmaz daughter have a peaceful sleep tonight in her new home because who knows what the future might bring?

After the reception party, all the guests left one by one. The Yilmaz family were the last to leave. Hasibe ana, Azize hugged Hilal and said their goodbyes. Cevdet kissed Hilal on the forehead and said, "Don't forget who you are my daughter. Always be careful."

"Yes, Baba I will. You take care of yourself too."

Hilal watched her family car leave the front gate of the Papadopoulos mansion and a strange sadness overtook her. For the first time in her life, she is truly alone. But she has a mission to complete, so she brushed away her sadness and willed herself to be stronger.

"Hilal, please follow me to my office." Vasili's voice brought Hilal back from her melancholy.

Once they both got into the office Vasili closed the door and gestured Hilal to sit.

"So Hilal as you are now officially a part of the Papadopoulos family, it's time I point out some things to you. You might find our environment a bit different from the one you grew up. We have to maintain an image in public that part you already familiar with. You will have to take 4 guards with you all the time when you go out in public for whatever reason. Two of them can be from your own guards that your father sent with you and two of them will be from the Papadopoulos security. Also, you are free to go anywhere in this mansion except for the basement. The basement is off-limits to everyone except me and Veronica."

Hilal expected the first part of the lecture but the last part got her very curious. But she refrained herself from asking anything.

"Yes, I understand. Thank you for explaining it to me." She replied politely.

Vasili seemed pleased with her answer "Well then I welcome you as my daughter in law. Veronica is waiting for you in the piano room. See her before you retire for the night."

With this Hilal was dismissed from Vasili's office. She then went to the piano room as told. Veronica was playing the piano when she entered.

"Hilal my dear, I was waiting for you. Come sit by my side," Veronica said with a smile.

"You play beautifully," Hilal complimented Veronica.

"Thank you, dear. But Leon plays much better than me. Although it's been a long time I heard him play something." She sighed.

"I was told that you are waiting for me here."

"Yes, I just wanted to have some chit-chat with you. I always wanted a daughter and now I got one. I am very excited. I will finally have someone to gossip with and go shopping with me."

"Of course, any time you want."

"That's great. I'll not delay you for more. I'm sure you are tired, it's been a long day. The maid will show you to your bedroom."

Hilal was about to leave when Veronica added, "Oh I think Vasili already told you about the restriction of the basement but I wanted to mention it again just to be sure."

"Yes, he did. I will definitely keep that in mind. GoodNight."

"GoodNight dear."

As she was following the maid Hilal made a mental note to check out this top secret basement sometime in the future.
