Laive
"Beautiful Laive. Yes," The camera clicks sounded like a ticking time watch. "Turn this way...look, look a little over your left shoulder." The celebrity photographer was snapping frames for the Vogue magazine cover.
It was an early morning, about 7:30 or so, a little after sunrise. Laive was on her second look, a sultry red maxi sun dress. The low sweetheart neckline hung on her shoulders by paper thin straps, and the bottom asymmetric hem was shaped with romantic ruffles from the high-low train that flowed behind her. The fabric didn't hide any of her thighs in the front, but it seductively covered her behind and drifted down to the back of her ankles.
Her dress and hair were wet from the contact with the waves as she posed on the coast of the beach. The sunrise glistened off her skin that had been bronzed by gold and copper body glitter. Slightly parted, her lips were covered in a glossy nude lip that complemented her smoky eyes and highlighted cheeks.
"That's it. These pictures are so gorgeous with this location...Look away for a little bit. Yeah, lift your chin."
She was cold as shit. And she had to pretend to feel sexy and sultry.
"Ok everybody, that was great. Let's move to the section of the beach that has the rocks off the shore."
Dragging her hair and body out of the salt water, Wil was by her side swiftly placing a robe on her as the beautician grabbed a towel to dry her hair.
"I'm freaking freezing," Laive was shivering trying to catch her breath.
The beautician smiled at her, "All the beach shots are cold. I don't ever remember doing a shoot where the temperature was decent unless I was in the dessert."
"I'll keep that in mind for future references. I do NOT like being cold."
"At least you can smile about it." She gently laughed as she brushed the wavy hair back towards Laive's shoulders"
Changing into a white monokini with a silk train, Laive carefully stepped onto the rocky set up. "I feel like a super hero in this thing. Like Storm takes on California."
The entire set released mixtures of warm laughter.
"But she was electricity wasn't she? Wasn't she lightening or something?" Wil asked.
"Either way, y'all tell Marvel to call me. Because honey, this here is a look!"
Later on that afternoon, Laive couldn't contain her excitement as she finally got her hands on an advance copy of an upcoming cover story.
"It's here! It's here!" Laive was screaming into her headphones as Lehr tried to calm her.
"Laive you're screaming my ear off."
"I'm sorry! I'm like super hype right now!" She was dancing in a circle and pranced around her living room. "I can't believe I'm on the freaking cover! Like, my album isn't even out yet...This is crazy!"
Laive could feel his smile through the phone, "Well are you going to read it to me, or do I have to wait a couple weeks like everyone else?"
"Ok, ok. Let me calm down. It says..."
