I woke up a few days later, after the incident with Gina at the Diner. Before she freaked out on me and left. I didn't understand why she was so scared of the Zayn guy. At first she was happy, and then as if she were a light switch, she flicked it off. She became scared.
I remember her saying that it was because she had lost someone she had cared about. But who? And what could make her be afraid of him? it wasn't my business and I didn't need to know, but I wanted to know.
I couldn't bother with anymore problems then I already had. I needed to take care of my mother's murder. Finally, I have another meeting with LauraKate. I wasn't sure what more she could help me with. I was willing to give it a try.
I flicked the covers off of myself, stretched my muscles-which were sore from cleaning out gutters-, and yawned. I got out of the bed which wasn't mine. It reminded me that in a few months I would be back in North Carolina, in my own bed. In my own home. Without my father.
I smiled internally as I walked to the bathroom. I opened up the door and didn't even flinch when I saw Gina was wrapped up in a towl. Her hair fell down her back, making a bold statement. Her hair was as black as ravens. I reached my hand out and grabbed a tendril of hair and fingered it gently. For her hair being so frizzy, it was so soft.
I saw her smile in the mirror, watching me. I let her hair go and leaned on the door frame. She pushed hair behind her ears and turned her body around. She leaned against the counter, crossing her ankles. Gina and her big brown eyes held a smirk.
"If I didn't know any better, British Boy, I would say your a stalker." She winked at me.
"Really? I would say you, Frizzy Hair, are the stalker." I retort.
"And why is that?"
I smirk at her. I loved mornings because they were always filled with sass. it radiated off of Gina. Some mornings though when I was grumpy.. I couldn't handle it. Today was a good day though.
"Because your in my bathroom." I say as I stepped closer to her.
She puts her hand on my shirtless torso, directly onto my butterfly tattoo. She and I are eye to eye. I really like that she is as tall as I am. She grips my skin and starts to laugh.
"Your not funny, Harry." She says.
I roll my eyes at her and watch her as she walks out. She stops before I close the door on her.
"You going to work with me today? Or are you going to play sick to my Nanny again?" Gina says to me, grinning.
"I have to go somewhere today. I've already talked it over with your, Nanny." I say and shut the door.

After I finally was able to leave the house of the hormonally challenged women, I started my bike and left towards Astoria ID.
I parked my bike in the same parking space as last time, entered the eery building, and walked up the old stairs. I got to the seventh floor and opened the glass doors.
Again the floor was buzzing with phones ringing and people running ever where. I found my way to room 712. I knocked and slowly opened the door. The big man from the first time I was here opened the office door. Trenton was his name I believe.
He stepped to the side and let me pass him. He was just a few inches taller than me so I didn't feel so puny. He closed the door behind him and I looked at LauraKate who had her nose to a computer. She was on the phone and I'm quote certain she hadn't noticed me yet. Her hair was held together on top of her head by pencils. She had glasses on that shielded her big blue eyes. She was wearing a white shirt, making her look like an angelic figure. She reminded me of what a guardian angel would be. If there were guardian angels.
