Colby
Today I was going to take Phoenix out for the day. I could tell she was missing her parents and her brother and sister so I thought I'd take her out for a while to go see her parents. I was walking around the halls thinking about anything else we could do when I spotted Katrina walking on the opposite side of the castle.
"Katrina? Can you do me a favour?" I asked as ran over to her.
"Of course Colby. What do you need me to do?" She asked smiling.
"Could you go wake up Phoenix and Kyle? Tell Kyle that he needs to get changed and meet Corey and Sam for training downstairs and can you send Phoenix to my chambers?" I asked folding my arms.
"Of course... Anything else?" She asked before I ran off.
"Could you go to the stores nearby and get Phoenix some clothes. If you take Jake with you he can get Kyle some too. Stick to the dress code. Phoenix is a small in everything, Kyle a large. Thank you" I said smiling at her.
"Colby if you don't mind me saying... You seem happier" Katrina said warily.
I couldn't help myself. I hugged Kat tightly.
"What was that for?" She asked as we stopped hugging.
"For telling me that when no one else would. Treat yourself to something whilst you are at the stores" I said smiling.
"Thank you Colby" she said as she walked away.
I smiled and then walked to my chambers.
Katrina
I was honest when I told Colby that he'd changed. He was smiling more. Which was a sight no one in the castle had seen since Shea. I knocked on Kyle and Phoenix's door. I waited until the door opened. A scruffy looking Kyle answered. I smiled at how weird he looked.
"Oh hey Katrina. What's up?" He asked smiling right back at me.
"Colby asked me to wake you both. He'd like you in the training room with Sam and Corey A.S.A.P. and Phoenix at his chambers by 10am" I said smiling.
"Ok anything else?" He asked as I saw Phoenix tossing and turning.
"No that's it. Me and Jake are going shopping for your clothes today. It's a good thing you both suit our dress code colours. Because they're the only colours you'll be wearing from now on. When you both come back you will change into your new wardrobes. But for now, wear something nice" I said as I left.
Kyle
"Who was that?" Phoenix asked sitting up.
"Katrina. You need to be at Colby's chambers by 10" I said as I walked into the bathroom.
"Why?" She asked sounding slightly nervous.
"I'm not sure. It won't be anything bad. I don't think you've done anything wrong" I said as I put toothpaste onto my toothbrush.
"Yet" she mumbled.
Phoenix
I got changed into this outfit-
It was a grey Calvin Klein Underwear Set, a pastel pink lock sleeve oversized knitted jumper, light blue denim boyfriend jeans and my signature white and black striped ADIDAS trainers. I did my makeup naturally and my hair into a loose ponytail. I grabbed my glasses and slipped them on. Kyle left for training whilst I was doing my makeup. I grabbed the key to me and Kyle's room and went over to Colby's room. He was stood at the door.
"Hi Colby" I said looking at him.
"Phoenix you are late" he said frowning.
"I was trying to find an outfit" I said smoothing down my top.
"Ok. I know how that feels" he said smiling.
"So what are we doing?" I asked as we started to walk down the halls.
"Hope you got some good shoes on... We're gonna go hiking. Did you put on a swimsuit?" He asked as we stopped.
"No. Kat never told me to" I said looking at him.
"Ok you run and go get one. Put it in your bag and you can change there" he said pushing me towards my room.
I ran in and grabbed a black bikini and put it in my bag.
"You ready to go now?" He asked as he held out his hand.
"Yeah" I said taking it.
"Good" he said slinging me over his shoulder.
"Put me down Colby" I said giggling.
"It'll be quicker this way" he said.
He used his speed as I felt the wind against my skin. He stopped and put me down. I gasped for actually air that I could physically breathe in.
"Are you ok?" He asked walking over to me.
"I need to get used to that" I said standing up straight.
"Ok you go get changed I'll wait here" he said as he threw me my bag.
I walked behind a bush nearby as I watched Colby get changed. I couldn't take my eyes off him. He didn't see me though. I'm good at being a stalker. He was pretty well built. I finally got changed myself after drooling over Colby. I could tell he was looking at me. I smiled as I saw him licking his lips.
"If you want to stare at me that bad you might as well take a photo" I said smiling.
"Ok maybe I will" he said as I out on the top half of my bikini.
I came out from behind the bush and walked towards Colby. He walked towards the edge and he jumped off. I ran over to the edge and I couldn't see him.
"Colby! Colby!" I yelled as my voice echoed all around us.
He came from the water and I smiled.
"Don't fucking do that" I said exhaling sharply.
"What it wasn't that bad? Come on its really fun" he said smiling.
"No Colby. It's dangerous" I said sitting down.
"I can catch you remember" he said smiling.
"Fine" I said standing up.
I jumped off the edge and I saw the rocks. I started screaming but Colby grabbed me and put me into the water.
"Thank you so much" I said looking at me.
"You scared me there too. But then I realised I could save you" he said smiling.
We had a few contests and had some lunch.
"I like your ring" I said smiling.
"Thanks. It's my dad's. It's the reason I can walk in the sun. If someone took it, I'd only be able to come out at night" I said looking at it.
"Why did you chose Tati?" I asked as I took a bite of my cheese sandwich.
"I'd been watching your family for a while. I'd been trying to catch your attention for a while but you never noticed. So I saw how close you were to your siblings. If I chose one of them I knew you'd volunteer yourself" he said taking a gulp of his beer.
"Why didn't you just choose me?" I asked taking a sip of my Diet Coke.
"Because I knew Tatiana would try and volunteer for you. This was the only way I could get you" he said looking at me.
"Why me?" I asked looking into his eyes.
"You were different from all the other girls I chose. You were smarter, funnier, prettier, more amazing. Different" he said taking my hand.
I looked at my hand and back at him.
"You didn't want me here for the blood" I said.
"No. I wanted you here so I could keep you from harm" he said.
