Colby
It was a full moon tonight and I was taking extra safe precautions to make sure Phoenix couldn't get hurt. I walked into her room and she was standing there looking at me. She had a huge grin on her face.
"Nix, are you alright?" I asked, walking over to her.
"I'm fine Colby. And soon, we all will be" she said walking towards the bordered up window.
"Nix what're you doing?" I asked walking further towards her.
"The full moon calls to me. And it calls to them too" she said pulling the bordering off the window.
"Nix no!" I yelled grabbing her arm.
She refused and remained persistent as she gazed at the full moon. She looked at me, her eyes bright green.
"I need to find them" she said walking towards the door.
"I will not let you leave!" I said grabbing her.
"Don't try and stop me Colby. Jackson wants that prophesy. So I suggest you let me go soundly without the prophesy, or I take it and ruin your little plans... Your choice. Make the right one" she said looking at me.
I let go of her and she smiled falsely at me.
"Wise choice" she said walking out the door.
She walked out of the castle and looked up at me. I nodded and she turned around.
Phoenix
I walked out the castle grounds and Shea was stood there. I smiled at her and she smiled back at me.
"Where's my long awaited sister hug?" Shea asked opening her arms.
I ran to her and hugged her. We laughed as we looked at each other.
"That man in there has ruined us. That won't happen anymore" she said as she started walking
"So how long have you been a vampire?" I asked as we walked down the dark streets.
"3 years. And it sucks. I'm surviving on animal blood" she said groaning
"I feel for you. I haven't been hunting in ages and really pissed" I said as we ran to the cave.
"My favourite wolf" Hunter said smiling
I smiled back at him.
"I've tried to kill you twice already Hunter. Don't make it three" I said flaunting past him.
I had a meal with the pack and it was really nice.
"Jack, I can't be bothered with animal blood anymore" Shea complained as she slumped down in her chair.
"We can't supply you with human blood Shea. I'm sorry" Jackson said frowning
"You can take from my wrist. My bloods that extra strong stuff" I said holding out my wrist.
Without hesitation, she bit me. She stiffened up and I smirked.
"Your little mind tricks don't work. I'm wearing my vervain necklace. And from what I hear... You hate that" I said smiling as Shea fell to the flood.
"You bitch!" She yelled before she fainted
The rest of the pack growled ate and I weakened them all. I stood up and faced Jackson
"Come near the castle again, and I will make you regret it" I said snarling
He threw a knife at me but it hit the right side of my chest.
"My heart's on the left side of my chest dumbass" I said walking away.
I ran to the castle and I was worn out. I walked in and then I felt a strange feeling seer through my body. I started feeling dizzy. I saw Zane and he ran to me. He caught me as I fell to the ground. He pulled out the knife and I gasped
"Colby!" He shouted
Colby ran downstairs.
"Do you know how painful it was to hug the person who murdered my parents?" I asked gasping
"You were acting?" Colby asked sitting down
"Their shitty little mind games don't work on me. I'm more powerful than Shea and Jackson" I said smiling
"I thought I was going to lose you" he said shocked.
"Not just yet Colby" I said before I fell asleep.
