Colby
Me, Sam and Brennen walked downstairs and Phoenix ran at the bars and snarled at me. She stuck her arms through the bars and swiped at me.
"Let me in with her" I commanded, folding my arms.
"What?" Brennen asked, looking at me oddly.
"I need to go in with her" I said, walking towards the bars.
"Colby, you could die" Sam said, putting his arm in front of me.
"I'll be fine Sam. I have some wolfspane" I said, showing him the little bottle.
He let me in and she lunged at me. I pushed her away from me. She hit the floor and whined. I stared at her and she cowered.
"She's fine. She's a pup. She won't be a full wolf unless someone turns her. There's no surprise that Jackson will try and take her again. And because she's a pup she can still be compelled" I said, walking towards her.
"Get away!" she growled.
"It's ok Phoenix. You're going to be fine" I said, crouching down to her level.
There was a crack and her body started morphing. I could hear chants in the air and she was moving about.
"What's happening to her Colby?" Sam asked, from behind me.
She looked at me. She flashed her teeth as she growled and her eyes turned green.
"I said, get out!" she growled grabbing me.
She threw me out of the cage and locked it. She tied herself up in the chains.
"I don't want to hurt you. Please, leave!" she growled as she rolled around on the floor as more cracks were heard.
I grabbed Brennen and Sam as we ran up the stairs to the basement. Phoenix screamed in pain as the cracks were heard throughout the castle.
"What's happening down there? Is she ok?" Katrina asked, running to Sam's side.
"She'll be fine" I said, as I sat down in the parlour.
"She cannot stay here. She's a danger to us all" Alex said, coming in.
"Please Alex. Let me think!" I said, snarling.
"Jesus" he said, putting his arms up in surrender.
"She could stay here. Full moons only happen once a month. She told us she doesn't want to hurt us. She'll lock herself up in the basement" Katrina said.
There was a huge crash from downstairs.
"Oh for fucks sake" Brennen shouted from downstairs.
I ran down there and Brennen was on the floor with a stake in his stomach.
"What happened? Where's Phoenix?" I asked, helping him up.
There was scream from upstairs. I knew it was Kyle. I ran upstairs and Phoenix has Kyle against the wall choking him.
"Phoenix no!" Alex said grabbing her off of Kyle.
Kyle fell to the floor and Phoenix ran to him. She grabbed his face and put her forehead to his.
"Phoenix, please step away" I said, grabbing her.
"I can help him" she said, looking at me.

He breathed in and looked at her. His eyes blue. He fell asleep straight after. She grabbed him and placed him on the bed and tucked him in. She kissed his forehead and sat down.
"He'll be ok" she said.
"What was that?" Liza asked, sitting next to her.
"I know what that was. She's a witch" Clarissa said, smiling at her.
"What do you mean?" I asked, looking at her.
"I've been a witch since the day I was born. You didn't notice though. I learnt all the spells. I don't need spell books. There all in here" she said, tapping her head whilst standing up.
Brennen grabbed her and pushed her against the wall and started choking her.
"You could have saved us. You could have taken this horrible life away from us" he said, as she placed her hand on her wrist.
"I could have done that. But I know you don't want me to get rid of this life. I can read you like a book Brennen Taylor and it would only take me a second. If you keep this life, I can bring back your Mom, brother, and sister" she said, smirking.
He let go of her.
"You can?" he asked smiling.
"Of course I can. But it takes time" she said, grabbing his arm.
"I don't care, I want them back" he said, looking deeply into her eyes.
"Give me your hand" she asked, pulling Brennen towards her.
She breathed in.
"Ok. I can get them back. You just need to be patient" she said, smiling.
Me and Phoenix talked all night. I was curious why I hadn't noticed in the first place though.
