Kokichi... what he just said...

it really did seem like the truth.

I can see even Shuichi, the SHSL Detective sees it.

"My whole act, my whole life there, was a lie itself." Kokichi gets up.

"You guys... enjoy yourselves. I won't bother you anymore."

He walks away.

"Kokichi, wait!" Himiko runs after him.

"Himiko! What-" Tenko follows her.

They leave their finished breakfast on the table.

"Do you guys really think Kokichi changed?" Maki looks at us.

"It would've seemed impossible.... but I think he really has." Shuichi responds.

"I feel really bad for him then," I look up, "If he really tried his best to end the killing game, if all of his evil was an act... then if he really died... no one would be able to acknowledge him for doing his best. He really tried to save us in his own way."

Tenko's POV

Himiko... what was she doing!?

Running after a degenerate male!?

Especially Kokichi!

Kokichi keeps on running, not even realizing Himiko and I were following.

He runs past all the beds, past all the other Ultimates.

He goes to... a room.

It was empty.

Himiko stops running to take a breath.

"What's... Kokichi... doing?" she bends down and pants.

"He's just sitting in that room!" I point, "Why... why do you care?"

Himiko stands up, "I... I don't know. Why... am I?"

"C'mon, let's go." I reach out to her, "Don't mind him for now. He's just another degenerate male."

"No..." I hear her mumble.

Did she actually... like Kokichi?

Does she... really think he's a good person?

"What do you mean!?" I ask her, very confused.

"I... with my magic... have sensed this...!" She gives me a stern look.

She.. really is serious.

Maybe... I'll wait and see.

Her magic always works correctly!

"So, what are we gonna do? Just wait?" I ask.

"He'll come out soon... I sense it!" She looks at me, "Then I'll... we'll... talk to him!"

Himiko's magic really did work... he stepped out of the room!

He stared at us with shock.

"Were you looking for me?" He asks.

"Why did you just run off like that!? What were you doing in that room?" Himiko expresses her worry.

Himiko and Kokichi were looking at me.

"Are you okay??" Himiko waves her hands at my face.

"Yeah! I'm great!" I tell her.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Kokichi make a break for it.

But I run and grab him.

"Where do you think you're going!?" I question him.

"I thought we were done speaking!" Kokichi sweatdrops.

"It's okay Tenko... he can leave now if he wants..." Himiko turns to me.

I drop him.

Kokichi runs off.

Himiko gives me a look.

"Uwah! Himiko!? What's with that face!?"

"Tenko... you don't need to be so mean to Kokichi anymore..."

"Huh? But he's-"

"He's good now... he won't lie... be mean. He tried saving us...!"

Shocked, I say, "You think he was really telling the truth?"

"He is... I sense it..."

I decide to listen to Himiko.

"I'll believe you then...! I trust you!"

Himiko smiles at me.

Then hugs me.

"Thank you Tenko...for everything..."

I feel my clothes soak.

Himiko starts to cry.

"I'm so happy you're here with me now...! I... won't waste this second try with you..!"

I can feel tears grow in my eyes.

"Me too... Himiko!"

i honestly ship both, but i see tenmiko more as a friendship, and oumeno as a relationship.

i really love oumeno ahhh
