Himiko's POV

Kokichi... brought me to the arcade?

"Let's play!!" Kokichi starts running around.

"Wait!" I run after him.

He's an actual shithead.

"Hey, aren't you.." a kid with blue hair stops me.

"What?" I ask him.

"You're from V3 right?"

"Yeah."

He's also surrounded by other children.

They're a few centimeters shorter than me.

Dammit why am I so small...?

"Who are you guys...?" I ask them.

"Nagisa Shingetsu. And this is Kotoko Utsugi, Masaru Daimon, and Jataro Kemuri." the blue haired kid introduces all of them.

"Hey! I wanted to do it myself!" the kid supposedly named Daimon-kun says.

"You're super adorbs!!" Utsugi-chan compliments me.

"Thanks...?"

"Himiko-channnn!!" Kokichi comes back.

I sigh, "Took you long enough..."

"Who're they?" he looks at the kids.

"You're from V3 too!" Daimon exclaims.

They all go on to introduce themselves...

I space out a bit...

This place is actually huge!

"And this is Yumeno Himiko! My girlfriend!" Kokichi hugs me.

Hhhh!

Did he just--

say that!?

It's true but-

he didn't have to-

"Awww!" Utsugi gushes.

"You two look like a good couple." Shingetsu compliments us.

I let Kokichi do all the talking.

Which was of course, a bad idea.

But I didn't know what to say...

Kokichi... what an ass...

"Himiko-channnn are you awake??" Kokichi calls my name.

I realize that the kids have left, leaving only us two.

"This isn't endgame..." I hear someone whisper.

I ask Kokichi if he heard it and he did.

"What does... endgame mean?" I quietly ask him.

"If they're talking about us, then maybe they mean endgame ship as in they didn't want us to be together." he says casually, as if that person wasn't watching.

"You're really smart, aren't you?"

The person comes out from behind the machine.

"Aihya?" I say.

"Yeah. It's me."

"So I was right, about endgame?" Kokichi asks her with a... serious face?

"It was supposed to be Tenmiko..." She mumbles.

Tenmiko... is that mine and Tenko's name together...?

"Oumeno wasn't supposed to be canon...!" Aihya glares at Kokichi, "You betrayed me, Ouma. I should've kept you dead."

"Aihya...? What's wrong with you...!?" I half yell at her.

Why would she say something like that!?

"Wow. So your plan all along was to save specific people just so your ships could be canon? Are you out of your mind? You're just playing with their lives. That's a bit selfish, don't you think?" Kokichi says.

I can't believe that just came out of his mouth.

Aihya looks away, "That's... not true..."

"Himiko, let's go."

Kokichi takes my hand and brings me away from the arcade, leaving Aihya standing there.

We go to that open space room, near the theatre.

There were two other people inside.

"Ouma-kun?" a dude with messy white hair says.

That guy is accompanied by a pink haired girl.

"Komaeda-chan!" Kokichi jump hugs him from behind.

"Yumeno-chan, was it?" the girl talks to me.

"Y-yes. Who are you two?"

"Oh right! We weren't introduced yet! I'm Nanami Chiaki, SHSL Gamer. He's Komaeda Nagito, SHSL Lucky Student."

She continues, "So, what are you two doing here?"

I turn to look at Kokichi.

He explains to them everything that happened.

"Ah... that's happened to us before." Nanami says, "Once, Komaeda and I started 'dating' but that wasn't Aihya's 'endgame ship' so she got mad."

"Her endgame was Hinata-kun x Nanami-san." Komaeda finishes for her.

"Oh but you two aren't together now, right?" Kokichi asks them.

Nanami answers, "Nope. We decided to just stay friends, didn't want to leave Hinata-kun out. We're all kinda like... friends with benefits."

"Complicated..." I comment, "But who's... Hinata-kun..?"

They tell me that he's another friend, from Danganronpa 2.

And if as on queue, he comes barging in.

"Nanami! Komaeda!"

He seems... out of breath. Did he run here?

"Ouma. Yumeno. Hear me out." He says to us, "The new killing game... it's being broadcasted."

We all run to the main area, where the TVs are.

Everyone's there, watching in distress.

They're going through the same things we did...

What type of sick person...

Shirogane-san is dead...

But that bear... Monokuma.

He's still there.

The person who I think is the 'protagonist' appears.

She... looks exactly like Kaede.

"Hi, I'm Rise Akamatsu. The SHSL Violinist."

Confusion was shared around the room.

I ran to where Kaede was standing.

"I think I've got it." Shuichi says, "Kaede, that's your twin sister."

sorry this chapter is a bit shorter too, i like ending off on plot twists :)

this chapter is kinda scattered isn't it? from the despair kids, salty aihya, komanami, now this killing game haha
