Kaede's POV

"Tenko!!" I hear Himiko yell.

The four of us were splashing in the water.

Even Maki was playing along!

*splash*

I spit out and wipe my eyes.

Maki got me!

We were all smiling.

We haven't had this much fun, and felt this carefree in ages.

"Kyoko-chan! Let's go!"

The four girls from earlier come out of the locker room.

"Oi!!" The greenish-brown haired girl waves at us.

"Nyeh...?" Himiko mutters.

On instinct, I wave back.

"Hey hey! One of them waved back!" Another with darker brown hair smiles.

The two of them run to us, with the purple haired girls following.

Surprisingly, the light purple haired girl speaks first, "Are you four the DRV3 survivors?"

"Yes...!" I respond to them.

One by one, they join us in the pool.

"Nice to meet you guys! I'm Aoi Asahina! But you can call me Hina!" She starts the introductions, "This is Komaru Naegi! She's the younger sister of Makoto Naegi, the SHSL Lucky Student!"

Naegi, the greenish-brown haired girl waves.

"Luck is a talent...?" Maki whispers to me.

"I guess so."

Hina points at the dark purple haired girl.

"This is Toko Fukawa! She's the SHSL Writing Prodigy!"

Fukawa looks away, but I see a small smile on her face.

"And this is-"

"Kyoko Kirigiri. The SHSL Detective."

The one named Kirigiri cuts Hina off.

"Wait... shsl detective...?" Himiko says.

"Just like Saihara-kun!" Tenko outbursts.

"Yeah, I'm also a detective. There's also two SHSL Lucky Students here." Kirigiri nods.

"Well...! Nice to meet you four! I'm Kaede Akamatsu! The SHSL Pianist." I try changing the topic before I turn completely red at the mention of Shuichi.

"We know you guys! We watched you. You're Maki Harukawa, the SHSL Assassin. Himiko Yumeno, the SHSL Mage. And Tenko Chabashira, the SHSL Aikido Master." Hina studies us.

"oH!1!!1!" Tenko says.

"Hm well I hope we can all get along!" Naegi smiles.

The eight of us get to know each other, but the one named Fukawa... stays distant.

"Fukawa-chan... that's your name right?" I try to talk to her.

"Y-yes. W-what do you want...?" She looks down.

"Toko-chan! It's okay! Akamatsu-chan is really nice!"

She doesn't say much.

But, almost right on queue, I see Shuichi and Kaito walk in the pool area.

They're with... three other boys?

The five of them are already changed.

Shuichi is talking to a guy... who looks like Komaru...
