Unexpected Love

Chapter 9

*One Week Later*

P.O.V Liam

Every other night, I'd stay at Cortnee's and then she stay at mine on the other days. Her shaking have been getting better, and she is getting more comfortable with everyone. She is more talkative. Its funny, because after anyone's jokes, she would just laugh, even if it was one of Harry's stupid jokes. Sometimes at night, we don't sleep, because she would just talk and talk and just laugh about everything. Last night I slept for 2 hours because I was distracted by her sleeping.

I slowly get out of bed , sure to not wake her up. Her face was relax. I looked over at the time. It was about noon. My door opened. " Shhh" i hushed, it was Carly. " Liam, she needs to wake up." she goes over to cortnee, and she pokes cortnee's cheeks. " Liam?" cortnee mumbled. " Nope, its Carly" Carly giggled . Cortnee grabbed a pillow and whacked Carly in the face " Oh its you, go away then. " I laughed pretty hard. "Babe you need to wake up, I have a meeting about tour today." I said softy.

Cortnee tossed herself of the bed and whacked Carly again. They decided to have a pillow fight until i went behind cortnee and picked her up and plopped her on my bed. " Go take a shower and get dressed." I told cortnee. She looked at me with puppy dog eyes. " Liam , i don't want to. I want to sleep" she said laying back down. " Okay, fine, than i wont ask Simon for you to on tour with me." I said walking away. " Wait. Noo" she said running to me and put her arms around my waist from behind. " Then go get into shower, or just get dress, babe" she sat on the floor. " What the hell is going on." Niall said walking out of the room. Cortnee was acting like a child and pouting on the floor." Niall, Carly and Liam woke me up " she said making  a pout face. Harry was walking down the hall. Niall laugh, " Cortnee you're acting like a child" I turned around and helped cortnee up. She went back to my room, without another word. I hopped into the shower and got all cleaned up.

When I got back to my room, Cortnee was wearing my white t-shirt, and her black leggings. " Cortnee that shirt is too big for you" I laughed. she went back into my closet and got a sweat shirt. "looky at me I'm Liam James Payne" she giggled. She ran to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. " Hey babe" I whisper to her. she went on her tippy toes and kissed my nose. Louis walked in ." You know if all our girlfriends are coming with us, we are probably going to have to get more than on Tour bus. " he said. Cortnee went up to Louis " No we wouldn't , we can share bunks.Sharing is caring" she said poking his nose. " Liam, your girlfriend is a freak"

She sat on my bed to put her shoes on. "EVERYONE READY?" Harry shouted through the flat. "Cortnee, babe, are you ready to go?" I asked , " Nope." she said with a smile. " What do you mean no?" i question. " I didn't get my kiss" she said pouting her lips. I picked her up over my shoulder. "Lets go, you little cry baby" i said. She start to squirm in my arms. " Someone open the door for me " I ask the boys. "HEY, SOMEONE HELPPP" She said. " Nope," all the boy said. "CARLYYYY" she whined. " Cortnee stop being annoying." Carly said seriously. Cortnee stop. I sat her in the SUV. She wasn't smiling anymore. She buckled up and put her headphones in. Carly didn't have to be so harsh. I sat down next to Cortnee. " Babe, look at me" her eyes were watery. Her blue eyes look at me, with tears in her eyes. " yes, liam." I kissed her lips slowly. " You aren't annoying" i said softly. "Carly is different," she said sadly.I put my arm around her and she leaned in and closed her eyes. I rubbed her arm.

Everyone got into the SUV."Wheres the girls?" I asked , " They are meeting us there" Niall answered. Carly sat with Harry, and didn't turn to check on Cortnee. Cortnee grabbed my hand and played with my fingers. She does that to distract herself. " Do you want to stay home?" I whispered. she shrugged her shoulders. She put her music louder and blocked out everyone talking. She was listening to one of our songs. Louis was sitting next her  and he grabbed her hand. He pulled are head phone out. " You okay?" he said softly. She shook her head. Lately Harry and Carly have been dicks to everyone. Niall, Louis, And I were always having to be comforting Cortnee, because they would say something harsh. "Don't listen to them" he squeezed her hand and then let go. She sat up a little " Liam, can we go shopping for clothes after" she said softly, I nodded my head and smiled, She returned a smile.
